Black Alabama man, 24, tasered by female cop who told him 'your b**** a** ain't so tough now' breaks silence on 'traumatizing' arrest ordeal where he was also wrongly held on fentanyl charge

A black Alabama man who had been tasered by a white cop and arrested for trafficking fentanyl is now sharing his harrowing story.

Officer Dana Elmore was seen on camera swearing and tasing Micah Washington, 24, with a stun gun while he was in handcuffs.

He was charged with trafficking fentanyl, but the charge and its accompanying $500,000 bond were dropped after 'further testing' showed the substance in his possession was not the opioid drug.

In an interview with ABC, Washington revealed what had happened during the incident and explained that he had never had a run-in or issue with police before.

'I try to act okay, but I am really traumatized. I don't know how to feel about police now.'

He told the channel that he and his brother were changing a flat tire on the side of the road near his aunt's home when Elmore approached and asked to see his ID.

By then, Washington began to ask what was wrong and why he had to show his ID while complying with her order.

'I was respectful saying yes ma'am, no ma'am,' he said.

'She asked me to go stand in the back of the car but I was like I'm not being detained and I don't have to do anything.

'She grabbed me and I was standing between the back door and driver door, trying to turn my camera on and record her but she tased me for the first time and put her foot in my back after I fell.'

As soon as Washington fell, his brother, Shikeem Washington, began to record the video and on his request, his friend went to get the victim's aunt.

Most people do not realize it either.

They think every order the cop gives must be obeyed under pain of torture.

The police are actually very limited in what they can make you do but that is not the way they show it on TV. And way to many people watch too much TV.

Tasing a handcuffed person requires no speculation.

It’s intolerable cruelty every single time.

Not knowing that and casting doubt leaves folks knowing exactly with whom they’re dealing reply after reply.

He was also charged with possession of a firearm as an ex felon and possession of marijuana. They kept referring to it as a citizen’s arrest. She may have been off duty or in another jurisdiction that was outside her jurisdiction of employment.

The human race is limited to not electrocuting handcuffed human beings.

They think white woman and low IQ, impulse control then impulsively post low IQ garbage.

LOL, great advice.

See how many commands from a police officer you're legally allowed to disobey, and then test the limits.

Civilization, it;s either/or.

Not surprised to see you pushing that retarded idea, moron.

What are the demographics where you live?

Why do you feel compelled to be so vehement discussing US politics?

So to you civilization is obeying everything some citizen wearing a magic blue uniform says?

I would say we have vastly different ideas of what constitutes civilization then.

Because to me civilization is not having to bow down and grovel every time some minion of the government gets a wild hair.

In fact that is the entire reason for several amendments.

Perhaps you should immigrate back to Europe. They love the idea of having "betters" that you should obey.

As for me, if someone asks to speak to my master I would say the SOB has not been born yet.

Female cops tend to use their weapons more and are quick to be offended and exact revenge.

You do not under ANY circumstances have to show your ID or identify yourself unless you are informed that you are being detained and for what purpose you are being detained. And also, women should not be in the field. PERIOD. I watch dozens of body cam footage that are released daily and it’s horrifying to watch how incompetent female officers are and how much danger they place themselves and others into by walking the beat. Police no longer ride in pairs and as such women can be easily overpowered and are much quicker to implement deadly force as a result. If true, this woman in no way should wear the uniform. Pfffft show an ID when no order of detainment or declaration of suspicion of a crime has been announced. I too would tell the cop to pound sand.

You would think that would be obvious.

The police are not "punishers". They are suppose to arrest people, conduct searches with the permission of a judge and investigate. I think the problem begins when we started calling them "law enforcement" and that gave them a skewed idea of what their job was.

Judge and jury are the ones who impose punishment.

The jobs were split apart for a reason.

You DO NOT have to show ID or identify yourself if the officer has not stated they are detaining you and state the crime you are under investigation for that is the purpose for the detainment. Period, end of story. If this turns out to be the case (as it appears thus far) the idiot female will be fired for incompetence and the gentleman should win a large settlement for being denied his civil liberties.

How about the "news reporter" simply reports what the substance actually was?

Regards,

In some states you are required to identify yourself. You are not required to show ID.

IMHO I think she was being cruel. He was already handcuffed. Put him in the back of your patrol car!

> The officer has a right to know who he or she is dealing with. <

Sure, the officer would like to know. But the Fourth Amendment says the officer does not automatically have the right. We are not a “papers, please“ country.

The officer must be able to articulate probable cause.
