Anthony Polito had ties to North Carolina and Georgia, sources said.
The deceased suspect in the University of Nevada, Las Vegas shooting has been identified as Anthony Polito, 67, multiple law enforcement sources told ABC News.
Polito had applied for a college professorship at UNLV, but was not hired, sources said. He had ties to North Carolina and Georgia, where he previously worked as a college professor, sources said.
Polito was armed with a handgun during Wednesday's on-campus attack in which three people were killed, authorities said.

Maybe he was enraged because the deck at universities is stacked against hiring whites and he decided to revenge himself.
With the way they have started pimping genocide of the Jews, one would expect all college “perfesers” to be “red-flagged.”
I read about him and he had a fascination with the Zodiac serial killer. The guy was a business prof with a background in mathematics. I had a boss once that ticked some of the same boxes. I quit because he was creepy as hell. Could just be a case of too many bad decisions.
Universities will hire anyone in some positions. The reason is likely not the reason.

Maybe they knew he was evil and violent and did not want him working at UNLV.
Hmmm… Who leaves a good paying job without having a binding job offer in hand? My guess is that he was fired for cause and was unappealing to other employers for that reason.

In many subjects like sociology it’s about 100% but the hard sciences drop it down some.
It might be the most underrated reason why the right has more often than not been losing over the last 3 decades.

Well, he appears to be a white male with a western European name.
You just can’t predict who the next crazy will be.
I mean, you can. But you can’t.
He was 67 and described himself in his LinkedIn profile as “retired professor.” He left the Carolinas and moved to Las Vegas. He evidently decided to return to academia, probably part-time, perhaps to make a bit of $$$ and fill his spare time. He’d been teaching for many years and probably missed it. Something or someone at UNLV seems to have triggered his shooting spree.

These shootings will happen more often in future Bidenomics when job availability becomes scarce and desperate job seekers roam the street.
