A suspect accused of six murders across Texas during a day-long shooting spree was previously charged with assaulting a family member and bailed out by a non-profit progressive group, according to local reports.

Shane James, 34, is accused of killing six people and injuring others in Bexar County and Austin. James, who served as a U.S. Army Infantry officer from February 2013 to August 2015, is charged with several counts of capital murder.

In January 2022, James was charged with aggravated assault against his mother, father and sister, Fox San Antonio reported. Bail records said James was bonded out by Texas Organizing Project, a non-profit focused on progressive issues that helped elect Bexar County District Attorney Joe Gonzales and county Sheriff Javier Salazar.

In a statement, the group is was "profoundly saddened and deeply troubled by the tragic events" involving James.

"We take our responsibilities seriously and acknowledge that we must address both the immediate impact of this tragedy and the broader implications for our bail program," the group said.

I wonder (Soros) how the (Soros) group is (Soros) funded.

Hopefully we can find out, as that might explain a lot.

“Texas Organizing Project” should be sued into bankruptcy and its staff and leaders tried alongside the perp in this case, along with County District Attorney Joe Gonzales and county Sheriff Javier Salazar.

Army officer. Any combat experience? Any chance that it’s PTSD?

Only the police and military should have guns.

“James, who served as a U.S. Army Infantry officer from February 2013 to August 2015, is charged with several counts of capital murder.”

Especially since he was known to have violent tendencies.

He was in for only 2 years - no combat experience. Military will not say why he was discharged. I believe he killed his mom & dad as he started his rampage.

I wonder if the Las Vegas shooter heard of this and said...”Hey! I can do that too!” before he went on his rampage in Nevada.

Trey Ware on KTSA was talking about this today. Mayor, Sheriff, DA all Soros people
Deputy went to the home of the perp and parents in August to arrest the perp, perp had sawn his ankle monitor off.
Perp ran upstairs, took his clothes off, pushed bed against the door and laid down. They couldn’t get the door open enough to arrest him, but SUSPRISINGLY the deputies left without arresting him and never returned? Wonder if sheriff called them off?
Texas needs to be able to remove elected officials who don’t do their jobs.

“and the broader implications for our bail program,” the group said.”

If someone I love had been killed or injured by this nutball they put back on the streets those “broader implications” would be up close and personal for the members of this group.

Real personal.

The progressive killer-sponsors say, “our assessments cannot anticipate the future actions of individuals.”

But anyone with an ounce of intelligence could predict bad results if this guy was turned loose. Unless these progressives, probably pasty while liberals, want to admit they are stupid, the only logical conclusion is, they turn these people loose in order for them to commit crimes. Cloward-Piven Strategy, call your office.

File lawsuits against the group and individual members. Subpoena all their records, individual e-mails and social media accounts. One mention of Cloward-Piven and plaintiffs take all their money, and Texas DAs file RICO and conspiracy charges against the individuals
