Doomsday “prepping” is seeping into the mainstream as Americans of all ages and political persuasions are becoming increasingly worried ahead of the 2024 presidential election about the prospect of a civil war.
Hoarding food, water and weapons was once associated with libertarian extremists, but as a rematch between President Biden and his predecessor, former President Donald Trump, seems all but inevitable in 2024, prepping has become a bipartisan activity, according to a Monday USA Today report.
“On the left, you have people afraid (Trump’s) going to declare himself dictator of the United States and people on the left are going to end up as targets in some sort of authoritarian system,” author Brad Garrett told the paper

If Trump wins in 2024, the ‘dictatorship’ would only last 4 years, then the 22nd Amendment kicks in.

I was ready for 2021. I knew the dems would blatantly steal the ‘20 election. When the pubbies contested the steal, I assumed the left would go into anarchy mode. “pubbies contest the steal”, how stupid can a guy get?

LOL, I've never seen these words used together.
I recall a few years ago Trump actually was President, and he was hounded and persecuted for 4 years over fake claims of Russian collusion, violations of the never-enforced Logan Act, and because he tried to investigate the blatant bribery of Joe Biden. I don’t recall anyone calling him a dictator at the time since he couldn’t do anything even when he had both houses of Congress.
I am seeing a repeat of 2002 tech firing and replacing with Indian workers.

Then a day after Biden elected, I started storing up on everything OTC meds, cleaning supplies, etc etc etc. I’ve got enough to last ten yrs, I’m sure. I really don’t need to spend much on anything now.
