I think the only one I’ve heard of — possibly — is that Sambora person. Wasn’t he married to Madonna or similar?

Great list! I’d add “The Music Man”.

Correlation is not causation for several reasons. Consequently, I am skeptical of the results of number-crunching without insight.

It would be better to start with a possible insight and go from there.

It’s obvious that a preference for gospel music suggests a religious orientation. What about a preference for rap music? Surely, that is suggestive of something.

What about classical or other instrumental music? Perhaps this correlates with logical thinking and mathematical reasoning. If there is causation, in what direction? Are logical people drawn to instrumental music? Do children who listen to classical music acquire certain cognitive abilities?

So, can we assume if you like Yoko Ono, Zamphir, Slim Whitman, or Billy Ray Cyrus, you’re a mass murderer?

Close.

Ritchie Sambora was the longtime guitarist for Bon Jovi.

He was married once to Heather Locklear.

They divorced.

Thanks that’s very interesting.

I’ve been listening to my father’s rather extensive classical CD collection recently. I have to say it varies greatly in quality, at least IMO. Some sounds like an ok score to a movie. Some is really outstanding. I would think the choice of classical music would be relevant to people and cows alike.

How do they factor in unintelligible lead vocals? A good example is Steve Winwood on “Shootout At The Fantasy Factory” by Traffic (1973).

A few weeks back I read a post at FR that I considered racist. It’s a rare thing here. I won’t be harsh. Clearly the person posting had some experience with people at the bottom end of the Black community. I am talking about the kind of people that many Blacks would describe using the N-word.

I’m a firm believer in nurture over nature on this topic. Democrats insist that Blacks attend low-quality, inner-city, government schools that teach nothing in 12 years, but to vote Democrat. It does not have to be that way.

Perhaps music says it all:

The only one on that list that I’ve heard of or even listen to is Velvet Revolver.

I had a similar experience. Can’t remember if it was spotify or something else. I asked for a British Invasion playlist. About the 10th song was Bend Me, Shape Me by the AMERICAN Breed.

Most of the music I like is performed by dead guys.

I guess I was about 25% right. (I know nothing about Bon Jovi except a boss I had in the ‘90s lived next door to his family — in NJ, I think.)

“Do you get extra time for listening to Rich Men North of Richmond more than once?”

I wonder what the punishment would be for listening to “Babylon” by The Interrupters, and “Uprising” by Muse?😁

So many women are big fans of Taylor Swift and think her music is the tops. Are they all innocent girls with good morals? Are they all gold digging whores like the Kardashians? I doubt all her fans could be put in one philosophical box

So what about people who listen to prog rock? We probably find most everything too complicated to fit into their 4 bubble world.
