REVEALED: Donald Trump commuted sentence of drug dealer Jonathan Braun who's now gone back to being a LOAN SHARK: Crook is accused of using close tie to Jared Kushner to secure prison release

A drug dealer who had his prison sentence commuted by Donald Trump has returned to loan sharking as his family's ties to Jared Kushner might have helped get him free, according to a report.

Staten Islander Jonathan Braun, 40, had served two-and-a-half years of his decade-long sentence for running an illegal marijuana cartel when the former president set him free along with 142 others.

Braun is accused of returning to offering high-interest loans despite nationwide bans on the practice, according to the New York Times...

Braun was in the inaugural class of the Kushner Yeshiva High School in Livingston, New Jersey, which was funded by the family of Ivanka Trump's husband, Jared Kushner, according to the New York Times.

A source told the Times that in 2020, the accused loan shark's father - Jacob Braun - approached Kushner's father - Charles Kushner - about the possibility of securing a pardon from the then-president.

Others who dealt with Braun told investigators his family helped secure his prison release through their connections with Trump's senior advisor at the time, Jared Kushner, and his family, per the Times...

It was revealed that just months after Trump freed him, Braun allegedly began preying on borrowers again by offering loans, according to New York's Attorney General and the Times.

A New York judge barred Braun from working in the industry the same month, and weeks later, he was hit with a nationwide ban following a complaint from the Federal Trade Commission.

'Mr. Braun and his company targeted small business consumers with an egregious array of tactics, from predatory contract terms to violent threats, and the court’s opinion is a significant win on their behalf,' Samuel Levine, Director of the FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection said in an October 2023 release.

Some will cry this is a hit piece on Trump.

But my takeaway is that Trump pardoned Jared Kushner's sleazy friends, and failed to pardon those who stood up for him on January 6th.

So, you think he should have known in the two weeks between January 6th and the 20th, when he left office, to pardon people because for the next two years the democraps would illegally persecute them all??

You’re a special kind of retarded.

Marc Rich— See: Billy Cokenose Clinton boinking his fulminant “wife” to get a pardon— much larger than some pal of a son in law.
Marc Rich. And don’t forget the James Comey- HSBC security head prior to fibbie appt— largest coke money laundry in the freaking world, and he failed there miserably. The Marc Rich connection.

Revolver has some stuff on this iirc.

Trump's pardons were shameful. Mostly black drug dealers and Wall Street swindlers.

No pardon for Snowden or Assange who did more to expose the Deep State than anyone.

The same way Carter issued blanket pardons for all the draft dodgers, many of whom had not been individually charged with anything.

Marc Rich and Pincus Green...business partners, and fugitives from justice pardoned by Bill Clinton in the last hour of his Presidency.

Agreed.

Trump could have pardoned those who were arrested before he left office such as Adam Johnson, Jenny Cudd, Jacob Chansley (the shaman) Trump could have also preemptively pardoned the January 6th protesters who weren’t yet arrested before he left office.

The same way Ford pardoned Nixon before Nixon was charged with anything.
