If onstar can unlock your car, likely they can turn it off or limit your speed as well. Cop revenues might see a decline. Or older cars will still speed if the driver feels like it. And lots of folks figured this was on the horizon. EVs and AI. What a match huh?

Shades of Michael Hastings.

I see lots of enemies of the Deep State Globalists having "unfortunate, software glitch" demises.

you know what’s coming, you don’t need a car capable of going over the speed limit peon...

Next, government control over your door locks and that little cylinder of nerve gas that comes with every new model.

Good luck merging into expressway traffic with that hindrance.

So, was the car explosion at the Niagara Falls’ border crossing a stuck gas pedal or terrorism or another Hastings event?

I was doing telematics software in 2001. It was at a startup called Wingcast (Ford+Qualcomm) seeking to compete with OnStar. I had quite a range of control over the vehicle data buses to control lights, horns, displays, door locks, monitor speed and capture current GPS position. That was all in the scope of the product offering. I suspect there was a much broader range of access that I wasn't exploiting as it didn't serve the needs of the contract. I also had access to accelerometers that could do crash detection. The human factors designer asked if the radio could do scrolling displays. I sent him out for lunch and on return showed the display scrolling, "Attention K-Mart Shoppers". That immediately became a forbidden feature.

Current systems allow for remote start. The really high end ones have for more access than I had in 2001. Controlling the accelerator is a scary capability. Made to order for remote kill by running the speed UP and preventing the driver from dealing with it. Running it all the way down and shutting down the engine is also bad news...especially if the vehicle is in a high speed freeway lane.

Will this work in the opposite direction?

Will a Nervous Nellie who is driving 10 MPH below the speed limit automatically have their car speed up to match the flow of traffic?

If TPTB can control the accelerator, they can assassinate the driver / passengers and make it look like an accident.

Taxpayers might be surprised at how many employees and members of the NTSB don’t drive cars.

A few years back I had a chat with a highway patrol chick. She acknowledged that in order to safely pass a vehicle that one needs to exceed the speed limit occasionally. She said this applies more so to large trucks. I also knew in this state they give you about 8 mph or so over the speed limit before considering a ticket.

Now with all that said, it’s dumb as hell, to include very unsafe, to electronically govern the speed of any vehicle.

Now this can be over ridden by a savvy vehicle owner simply by disabling the car’s GPS and wireless features. It will mean just about any wireless feature will not work, such as the door locks, radio, On Star to name a few. Personally I’ve survived in older vehicles without all this crap. It’s really soothing to be just driving along with no noise or other distractions at all, including the radio or nav device. Paper maps still work for me.

We used to mess around with go-karts as teens. The first thing we’d do was disable the governor. Faster! Faster! :)

This will kill people in rural areas.
In a medical emergency you cannot wait for an ambulance. You take them to the emergency room yourself or meet the ambulance on the way.
You don’t drive the speed limit when you have 50+ miles to cover in a limited time.
If this policy is enacted and someone dies because of it... there will have to be consequences.

You can also bet that if the car does exceed the speed limit, once the governing switch/software is aware and activated... you will have to go to a mechanic to get it reset.

And I’d wager that before a mechanic can reset anything he will have to report it to law enforcement.

Basically not only will they (try) to limit your speed, you will also be driving with an onboard traffic camera whos only purpose is to ticket you.

Soon AI will control your car enough that instead of police pulling you off the road and arresting you, the car will lock all doors and windows, and drive you to the holding room in the police dept.

This day will come to planet Earth 🌎🌍

The New World Order Fourth Beast of Daniel 7:23 will exercise '1984' control over the Global Citizens. The New Nazis want to control EVERYTHING.

Tribulation Saints will recognize the Antichrist and False Prophet AND refuse the Mark of the Beast (Revelation 20:4)

Matthew 24:15-21

King James Version

15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

They won’t even enforce the many laws already in place.

Instead, They seem to prefer taking away people’s choices. Gas stoves, lightbulbs, now how fast a car can go. I’m sure there are many other instances.
