Now Big Brother wants to control the gas pedal in your car 'Fully prevent drivers from exceeding the speed limit'

Just when you thought there were no parts of your life not already under the thumb of the federal government, a new idea emerges.

This time it comes from the National Transportation Safety Board and it involves outsiders having control of the gas pedal in your car.

While you're driving, of course.

The proposal from the NTSB is to install "intelligent speed assistance" tech in all cars, a system that uses a car's GPS location and local speed limit postings "to help ensure safe and legal speeds."

If onstar can unlock your car, likely they can turn it off or limit your speed as well. Cop revenues might see a decline. Or older cars will still speed if the driver feels like it. And lots of folks figured this was on the horizon. EVs and AI. What a match huh?

Sometimes, when you're testing new tech in the R&D phase, things don't always go as planned. Failure is required to debug your tech.

Americans are ready for this kind of control. Just tell them it’s for the greater good, and they are virtuous if they support it... done.

So! “America”! How are are your rights, liberties and freedoms doing so far? The Zero Gs and Millies are all intending to move to Muslim Europe once they finally tear down and destroy America. The Zero Gs are America’s sewage generation. They make the baby boomers all look like rocket scientists, which by the way, many of us are.

If a vehicle is driving 50 mph in a 60 mph zone and I am limited to 60mph, if I try and pass him at 60 I will be in the opposite lane for an extended period of time. This will kill people.

Big Brother in the backseat.

https://www.ntsb.gov/news/press-releases/Pages/NR20231114.aspx
This is NTSB recommendations to the NHTSA:

- Require ISA systems that, at a minimum, warn a driver a vehicle is speeding.
- Educate the public about the benefits of ISA.
- Update the guidelines for state highway safety programs to include identification and tracking of repeat speeding offenders.
- Develop countermeasures to reduce repeat speeding offenses.
- Conduct research and develop guidelines to assist states in implementing ISA interlock programs for repeat speeding offenders.

Imagine the chaos as the BigBrotherMobiles are phased in. Those cars will be locked to the speed limit, and mixed in with cars that aren’t. How many road rage accidents and shootings will this stupidity cause?

Yeah, I know I’ve had to go well over 85+ passing due to oncoming traffic on certain rural roads.

There are situations where a driver must speed up, in excess of the speed limit, to avoid an accident or road hazard.

In addition I have observed numerous times the posted speed limit is different from the speed limit that appears on my navigation screen. Sometimes the posted limit is higher, sometimes lower.

GPS system have led me down the wrong road from time to time.

GPS systems are not perfect and controlling cars remotely, based on these systems, will end up killing people.

ON STAR always could stop your car midway to anywhere.

Nixon demanded such to try & put a crimp into drug cartels using large Suburbans & SUV’s to transport drugs.

“The Zero Gs are America’s sewage generation. They make the baby boomers all look like rocket scientists”

I certainly agree with that, but we Boomers need to have a serious think about what we did to produce them and how we can prevent that from happening in the future, assuming we have one.

Yep. I can see it now: I’m on a rural back road with a speed limit of 50 and I see the opportunity to pass a farm tractor, so I pull out, step on the gas peddle to speed up to pass, and nothing happens...Or, I speed up but the “technical assistant” wakes up, slows me down just enough that I can’t pull back in, but an oncoming SUV with a 6-passenger family onboard slams into me.

30 minutes later, the police hear a mechanical voice saying: “WARNING. There’s an on-coming vehicle approach in this lane!...this lane!...this lane!...this lane!...”

Yep. what could possibly go wrong...go wrong...go wrong...

“Until the GPS is hacked and the Speed Limit is set to 120 MPH through a school zone. WEEEEEEEEE!”

I doubt most people would take advantage of that hacking. But how about the other way...hacked to 10 MPH, now that would be HYSTERICAL. Even funnier is that it would only affect cars subjected to this type of control, so the rest of the drivers would be going crazy.

EVERY DAY I AM HAPPIER that I drive OLD IRON.

NO COMPUTERS-—

NO “port” to plug testing equipment into.

Parts are easy to find & not that expensive.

Have 1976 & 1979 vehicles.

When I die-—MY OLD IRON MECHANIC gets both vehicles. He is delighted-—He has worked on each of them for over 8 years & knows what they are.

The real goal of “driverless” car technology has all along been “how to control” how all cars are driven, to the point of total control over how, and where, every car is driven, period.

The mindset of the technologists and the globalists in this matter is the same - dictatorship of the “experts” under the political control of de jure or de facto dictators.
