The narrator seems stunned, and I admit it’s hard to watch the two women rustling around their trench,knowing that Russian regular army are coming toward them. There’s no blood; they’re heavily suited up (completely covered) with one firing and one throws a grenade - something I dare not do, because sadly, I really do ‘throw like a girl.’
An entire generation of young Ukrainian men have been wiped out.

Russia has nearly five times the population that Ukraine has. Russia isn't attacking Ukraine with women and senior citizens.
Russia is on the way to building a million man army of battle-tested combat veterans, experienced in fighting against NATO tactics and equipment in modern ground warfare.
sure it is
1) Russia will still be Russia, no matter what happens to Putin.
2) Ukraine has already been destroyed as a nation though there may be some territory on the map labelled Ukraine. And of course there will be a Ukrainian diaspora settling elsewhere in Europe and the world.
