Well, we know initial reports of an ongoing incident are incomplete or erroneous.

We need more info, such as, who was in the car, what was their nationality, religion, affiliations, etc.

Was the driver drunk? Maybe it’s just as simple as that?

Yes indeed. Strange though, that they closed the Buffalo International Airport to flight traffic. That's a pretty big step, especially on a day like today:

Look at the surveillance photos and the google street view I posted. Nobody plans a terror attack based on launching their car off of a concrete barrier. This looks like a car crash, probably caused by excessive speed and driver idiocy.
