Walmart says customers are spending more than 60% of their purchases on food and daily necessities. There's just no cushion for big holiday spending on things like toys.

I thought it would be a “Climate Cult Toolkit” ,LOL
My mother told me that she was thrilled to get an orange for Christmas. But that was the Great Depression.
I stopped putting up a tree it was a cat magnet
I actually have given a case of Ramen as a Christmas Gift. (sad)
Don’t worry, the sheeple won’t change their voting habits because of this, they will just blame you and me for not paying enough in Taxes.
Ramen can be made healthier and still taste good. I barely cover the noodles in water, sprinkle about a third of the seasoning over it (the seasoning is mostly salt and artificial flavoring), add a little olive oil and cayenne pepper. Nuke it until it is slightly “al dente” and eat.
You can also use half the noodles and add a few frozen shrimp or leftover cut up chicken pieces.
Top is parmesan cheese to taste.
My Dad told me the same thing - an orange in his stocking was the highlight of Christmas. Yes, height of the depression in Indianapolis.
About the time of the George W. Bush crash of 2008, my mother told me that somebody came into the store where she worked?
Their son told them that all he wanted for Christmas was —————— toilet paper.
Sounds like Fauci’s COVID-19 days.
I spent around $30 at WalMart yesterday. Other than $8 for oil for the car, the rest went for food.
I keep the gas tank as full as I can on the car. But that took another $7.
Gas is about $2.87 - $2.97 here in the Midwest - regular UL
Still, under President Trump, it was about $1.85 at the same convenience store.
They blame the greedy corporations for making profits instead of slashing their prices and losing money.
I’ve made noodle salads with Ramen - take out the seasoning packet and cover the noodles with a vinaigrette dressing plus the seasoning packet - add cabbage and a few other ingredients - leave a few hours so the noodles soften - delicious.
That works!
Chop/slice up a hot dog and add to the ramen as it boils!............That used to be my everyday lunch at work!..........
Kids are gonna find succotash in their stockings.
That works too!
How I wish gas were that “cheap” in California - it’s finally dropped a bit from an average high of $6.09/gallon all the way down to $4.99/gallon, which I saw yesterday, under $5.00/gallon for the first time in a months and months.
I believe this is an effort by the Newsom admin to force people onto public transportation (that he would NEVER use himself or allow his family to use) - which is filthy, very dangerous and is said to go from “nowhere to nowhere.”
