A California Highway Patrol officer fatally shot a man on a Los Angeles freeway Sunday during a struggle that was partially caught on video.
State authorities have launched a probe into the deadly encounter that began when the officer responded to Interstate 105 for a call about a man walking on the freeway.
Video of the confrontation, shot by a witness and posted on social media, starts with the officer on top of the man as the two wrestle on the ground. After a few seconds, the officer attempts to get to his feet and pulls his gun as the man appears to kick at him.

Edited the video to skip the part where the guy attacked the officer - convenient.
Initial reports were he got hold of the officer’s Taser, or had a taser like device.

Looks like the perpetrator grabbed the item from the officer's belt during the struggle. Or he could have grabbed it from his left pocket.
What was the item? The department would do themselves a favor by releasing that information.

The msm will say “child shot for simply trying to eat a snickers bar after grabbing it from an officer” or “officer shoots unarmed child who had a promising career as a musician, after the child tried in desperation to steal a snickers bar from the officer because he was starving to death”

This should help the freeway situation in that area (section of freeway was closed yesterday) - which leads directly to LAX (Los Angeles airport).
Crappy area of town, I assume this was a drug-addled fentanyl user who had wandered on to the lanes of the 105 freeway from one of the MANY nearby homeless encampments.
