As an Alabamian, I like to see economic growth in my state, but at what expense?
Also, EV production at this time is a mistake. There's been a bunch of news lately about EV overproduction and growing lot inventories without enough buyers.

China expects a global collapse, I think, with the expectation of cornering the market.

As an Alabamian and an EV owner I love business in Alabama. And I like a free market (not the Dims' version of EV's where they're forced onto people).
But a CCP run business has no place in the U.S. Especially one getting tax credits and such from the U.S. govt (the EV stuff built into the Inflation Raising Act plus only God knows how else other govt money goes into EV's). Especially if it has to do with the CCP having their hands on our transportation. And all the more so if the Dims force people to buy EV's --- the CCP having more control over the only transportation option the Dims let us have.

The EV crap is not sustainable. To a actually make it work we need 5 times are current power plant production. And that will happen with failing wind and solar?

Notice that this had to be stopped at the local level.
RepubliClowns in Congress could do something - but won’t.
Green Charter Township, Michigan also blocked a Gotion factory there.
https://www.mlive.com/public-interest/2023/11/michigan-township-board-recalled-for-backing-gotion-battery-plant.html
The Repub Congressman for the Michigan county was trying to block this plant via a change in EV tax credits - of course he go nowhere.
But the people threw out the Green Charter Executive - which was the Repub Congressman’s old job before he went to Washington.
Important lesson: He gave up a local position where he could have done something, to go to Washington where he could do nothing.

In Green Township, MI,the entire township board was just recalled after they had supported the building of a CCP battery plant.
If you allow a CCP EV or battery plant to go up, there is nothing to stop them from importing Chinese employees and getting them green cards.
