Nicole was walking through an affluent part of Alexandria, Virginia, with a friend last month, when a man approached her and began screaming.
He railed about the hijab she wore, saying she looked Muslim, and made comments about Hamas raping Israeli women, she said. Her friend corroborated the account.
It was just days after the start of the Israel-Hamas war and the encounter left Nicole feeling rattled, worried and frightened. So much so, that she asked CNN to use only her first name, out of fear for her family’s safety.
“I haven’t stopped wearing hijab. I didn’t after 9/11 either,” she told CNN. “If I have one more person scream at me in public and certainly if someone were to threaten me, I think all bets are off.”
Nicole, who is in her 40s, said she’s been wearing a hijab for more than half of her life. And while she’s grown used to stares and occasional comments about her headscarf, Nicole said she fears the growing anti-Muslim sentiment in the US could escalate into violence.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) said the US is experiencing an “unprecedented” increase in reported anti-Arab and anti-Muslim bias incidents in the weeks since the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel.
A week after the Hamas attack, a 6-year-old Palestinian American boy was stabbed to death outside of Chicago. His family’s landlord was charged in what police are calling a hate crime. He’s pleaded not guilty to charges including murder.

The idea is that they want to attract a husband but when they marry they must cover their hair from other men.

The fact that they set this BS story in Alexandria VA makes it even more obviously fake.
DC and Northern VA are WOKE migrant LGBTQ ground-zero for America, all rolled into one.
OK, that is a possibility too. But I have met college-age women who claim to be Muslim, apparently to be fashionable. I once asked one of my niece’s friends whether she was going to kill Jews as required by her new religion, but she wouldn’t answer me. Wouldn’t even talk to me after that, in fact, which was great.
I’m not going to give CNN a click, but are these Muslim and Arab Americans condemning anti-Semitic words and actions against Jews?

Hyphenated Americans, like all the other Leftwing special interest groups. I have never heard of anyone calling themselves a Jewish American, though. Maybe because anti-semitism has always been a very real thing in the US on a lower level, like with most immigrant communities.
I was just thinking about what makes the Muslims different than other immigrant groups is that their refusal to melt into the Western culture. Their hijabs are an intentional uniform to announce to the world that they are different and consider themselves to be better than their western hosts. The same could be said of Orthodox Jews.

Nicole is a most un-muslim name and the article never even makes clear whether she is muslim or not. When I see a woman in a hijab, I think she is a slave. Voluntarily or not, she is a slave.
And if CAIR states it, it must be true. Ha!
The Orthodox Jews will establish their ethnic community in the place they live in. The Muslims will try to conquer you. If they haven't done that yet, it's only because they haven't reached critical mass yet.
