House lawmakers on Tuesday attended a screening on Capitol Hill of the video assembled by the Israeli government which shows footage of Hamas’ brutal attack on Israel on October 7.
The roughly 45-minute video includes graphic footage of the murders and atrocities committed by Hamas terrorists who infiltrated Israel that day. Some of the footage was taken from the terrorists’ body cameras.
The screening was attended by lawmakers from both parties, including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Greg Casar (D-TX), and Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA).
According to Jewish Insider, lawmakers left the screening largely in grave silence, visibly shaken, several of them openly crying and comforting one another. One lawmaker, Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (D-WA), left in tears less than five minutes after entering.
Speaker Johnson later described the video as “harrowing” and pushed for the Senate to pass House legislation that coupled aid to Israel with cuts to the IRS.
“We had a large group of Republican and Democrat House members in the auditorium this morning, and you could have heard a pin drop — except for the sighs and the cries in the room because the video would make anyone with a soul cry,” Johnson said, according to The Hill.
“I agree with our friend, Prime Minister Netanyahu who said this is a battle between good versus evil, between light versus darkness, between civilization and barbarism. And we want to make absolutely clear where America stands in that fight, and we’ll continue to do that,” he added.
Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) told Fox News Digital he felt sickened after viewing the footage.
"I've seen decapitation and I've seen just beating, and beating on both dead and alive bodies," Issa said. "And quite frankly, I'm just sick to my stomach."

The only way to fight pure terrorist evil, is to kill them all. There is no other way. You can’t negotiate, you can’t reason with them, you can’t offer them their own territory or land to rule and you can’t do the Biden thing of trying to bribe them with money......you just have to kill them all.

In bookstores is a very expensive, beautifully bound in green leather Holy Quran. If one was going to give a gift to someone, like a president, or any other high "ranking" person in society, it is what you would buy.
Every page was in Arabic on the left side, and English on the right. The English side was just like the other modern ones, all the "bad" stuff left out.
I have a non Muslim friend who is fluent in spoken and read Arabic. I asked him to come to the bookstore with me, because I was too cheap to buy the book.
I pointed out the sura I mentioned, and a few others, plus there were some he was familiar with he wanted to check. (he had spent quite a few years in Saudi-Arabia as a civilian). I have never seen the expression that came on his face before. Absolute shock.
He had only seen true versions before too. He said, "My God, they are two different books". I remember those exact words. I don't remember the rest of his comments word for word, but he went on to say, that this explains why so many people in our government have the wrong idea about Islam.
Every non Muslim (infidel) needs to read a true translation of the Holy Quran or Koran. Then they might understand why this is happening and why it will never stop happening.
IMHO these are probably the most accurate translations, and they are FREE.
