I’ve seen claims that people are fleeing the Red states and going to California.

It’s comical!

We have no seen anything yet...The Communist in CA will only double down and make life even more miserable CA...

I’d bet a cup of coffee in the next two years, another 700,000++ bail out of the state, only to be replaced by foreign nationals using the Communist endless chain immigration policies of sabotage, and millions more illegals flooding in.

Six of my Republican children (all voting age) have “invaded” Texas from California (one from Colorado). Texas is the better for it.

They have 8 children among them and are raising them right. Texas will continue to reap the benefit.

Leaving for Oregon and Washington isn’t much of a change. Apparently wanting the same stuff they have in Kalifornia! Hope those heading elsewhere are not bringing leftist/socialist politics with them.

They are like a virus that infects a cell, multiply and destroy the cell, then flee to other cells to begin all over again to destroy that new cell.

Lots moving to AZ. Price of real estate has gone nuts. Roads crowded too.

Far too many moving to Idaho. Fortunately, most seem attracted to the west side (Boise/Eagle/Star/Nampa/Meridian) rather than southeast. It still comes with political consequences.

I moved to Utah from Cal in 1982. I have never voted for a Democrat since 1972. We’ve gotten way too many locusts in SLC. But they mostly seem locally raised.

And around the UofU we have lots of pride and BLM flags. I like it when the enemy identifies itself.

Longmont Colorado is buried with them and their Mini-Coopers.

From a northern Idaho standpoint, I've seen it both ways. They come but they don't always stay. I had a pair of long time (and hyperliberal) friends move up from SOCAL, find out that one of the more liberal towns in Idaho is too conservative for their delicate sensibilities, and three years later move to Denver "for more social services," i.e. free stuff. I helped them pack.

There's also the winters here. I know a realtor who specializes in what he calls "broken dreams", which are properties bought by people who thought that it was all about skiing and toboggans and ended up freezing, starving, and waiting six months for spring. I've lost two next-door neighbors in five years to that first winter. Both, yup, were from SOCAL.

Californians:

Elected Ronald Reagan Governor, 1967-1975

Passed Prop 13, 1978, property tax is set at 1% and limits increases to 2% per year

Passed Prop 187, 1994, denied taxpayer benefits to illegal aliens. Passed by voters, sabotaged by Mexico, the national GOP and Democrats

2020 election, the 3rd highest vote total for Donald Trump.

Thanks for all of the assitance given us by those outside of California.

What? Oh. Nevermind.

Installed to a few California expats here in Florida. All of them are conservatives. They love the low taxes and the cheap home prices. One bought a new home for 785k on 6 acres, he sold a house built in 2005 on 1/4 acre for 1.7 millions.
