The Republican National Committee has warned some of the 2024 GOP presidential candidates about attending an Iowa Christian organization’s Thanksgiving forum, saying it would disqualify them from participating in future RNC presidential debates.
Five candidates – former President Donald Trump, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy and South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott – were invited to the Family Leader’s “Thanksgiving Family Forum” on November 17.
“It has come to the attention of the RNC Counsel’s Office that several Republican presidential candidates have been invited to participate in an open-press event in Iowa in November at which they would ‘gather around the table to have a moderated, friendly, and open discussion about the issues.’ In other words, a debate,” the RNC counsel’s office said in a letter obtained by CNN.
“Accordingly, please be advised that any Republican presidential candidate who participates in this or other similar events will be deemed to have violated this pledge and will be disqualified from taking part in any future RNC-sanctioned presidential primary debates,” the office said.
In its letter, dated October 28, the office reminded the candidates that they had agreed not to participate in any non-RNC-sanctioned debates during the campaign.

I cannot vote for Trump if he does not distance himself from McRomney.
Obey or get banned.
This must be part of “our democracy” I keep reading about...lol.
RNC takes its orders from the DNC (and FBI; who blackmails their Congress Criminals to buy em a $375,000,000 palace).
RAMBO RONNA MUST BE FIRED.......TODAY!
It took 4 ADULTS to write this?
“It is the commie republicans that need to be educated and not vote to kill babies. at least in PA. In each conservative precinct there are the top of ticket abortion crossovers only from the republican conservative voters.”
Oh ya. Yep.
Well here’s the thing about abortion people refuse to see.
These so called conservatives. They go to Mass once in a while. Attend Protestant services. Support trump in a half assed way or better
They live lifestyles that center around birth control. They and their adult children lived it/live it. They do not center their lives around marriage but around living together. Having 5 year long ‘engagements/fiancés’ that whole farce
Here’s something pro life movement doesn’t consider. The practicality
That lifestyle the pervasive overreaching common culturally accepted ‘we don’t need marriage’ ‘No one’s doing that anymore’ way of life is completely dependent on artificial birth control
Artificial birth control depends on abortion as last resort
You can put a velvet cloak on it, dress it up in lipstick, get everyone you associate with to agree with you but the 10% of the time that artificial birth control doesn’t work, abortion kicks in. Period
The vast majority of Americans are not prepared for life without abortion.
The ones who are, who have been living a life of rejection, ostracization, counterculturally marginalized for daring to live a life of waiting til marriage get it
Everyone else wants legal abortion
At some point isn’t this a First amendment issue?
“It took 4 ADULTS to write this?”
When you see more than one author, especially four or five, that’s a clue that it’s something the media REALLY cares about.
111 members of the RNC reelected Ronna McDaniel in 2023 to continue as RNC Chairwoman. She was a known quantity. Her record was dismal. I wonder if they have any regrets or shame.
“111 members of the RNC reelected Ronna McDaniel in 2023 to continue as RNC Chairwoman. She was a known quantity. Her record was dismal. I wonder if they have any regrets or shame.”
Their goal is to prevent conservative victories (they don’t mind pantywaist moderate victories). So they put bulwarks in place against conservative victories. A Romney in charge of the RNC is a bulwark against conservative victories. So no, they will have no regrets or shame. Mission accomplished in their view.
Awww.... the RNC doesn’t get to control it, probably doesn’t get any cash out of it, probably doesn’t get to predetermine the outcome... what a shame...
This election cycle it doesn’t seem to matter anyway. The junior varsity debate club is merely to suggest a possible VP selection for President Trump’s second term.
if true, Donald Trump should DEFINITELY attend ... and indicate thereafter that the RNC has disqualified him from attending the GOP “debates” ...
The debates remind me of when TV station went of the air a midnight and all you had was the test pattern to stare at.
WHAT HAPPENED TO FREEDOM OF ASSOCIATION???
THIS IS OUTLANDISH-—FIRE THE BITCH
WILL BE A MIRACLE IF ALL THE MU CONTESTANTS WERE BORN FEMALE
The “debates” aren’t a debate, either. They are discussions.
I bet only Vivek and Trump show. Sounds like they’re trying to keep anyone from debating with Trump....
He’ll be doing a campaign rrally on the 18th at Fort Ďòdge.
