President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Lithuania Arvydas Anušauskas, who visited our country.
The Head of State emphasized that Lithuania is a friend and a strategic partner of Ukraine, and it has been so before the full-scale Russian invasion.
“Lithuania has been with us from the very beginning, and I am confident that it will be with us until our victory,” he said.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy conveyed greetings and thanks to President of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda, and First Lady Diana Nausėdienė for their comprehensive support of Ukraine and our state’s international initiatives. He highly appreciated substantial defense and humanitarian aid, support for the activities of the Crimea Platform, as well as within the framework of the United Nations.
“At all venues where assistance and allied support are needed, we see Lithuania among friends,” the Head of State said.
During the meeting, detailed discussions on further steps to enhance Ukraine’s defense capabilities with Lithuania’s support, including strengthening air defense, providing armored vehicles for medical evacuation, and demining equipment, took place.
There was an exchange of views on current issues related to Ukraine’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Arvydas Anušauskas also discussed further steps for bilateral dialogue at the highest level.

Ukrainian forces have been able to create a frontline on the left bank of the Dnipro river, taking an area from Nova Khakovka all the way down to the city of Oleshky. Ukrainian forces are flooding in across the river, with some Russian forces saying that they cannot hold much longer, and will have to retreat even further south. Ukrainian forces have also been holding back the major Russian offensive at Avdiivka, and are inflicting heavy casualties.
In Israel, the IDF has been moving up the beach from Al-Zahra and Zikim to meet in the middle. Israel has also forced open a humanitarian corridor for Palastenians to flee in, and will be stopping ongoing fighting every day for 4 hours to help facilitate the Gaza,s evacuating further south. US forces struck an IRGC base in Syria overnight.
Biden’s handlers have never stopped partnering with Putin to nuke up Iran and can’t wait to drop the Ukrainian hot potato. They’ve allocated just enough to Ukraine to keep invading Russian Nazis out of Kyiv and little more. Don’t expect Kremlin buttsniffers to ever detect the obvious historical facts at hand.

During the ceremony at the National Reserve Sophia of Kyiv, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy accepted the letters of credence from the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa, Shoayb Casoo, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Sultana Laila Hossain, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Guinea, Oumar Kande.
Welcoming the Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa to the beginning of his diplomatic mission in Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed gratitude for the support from South Africa for the Ukrainian Peace Formula.
The President noted the intensification of bilateral contacts at the highest level and expressed confidence in continuing fruitful dialogue with this country, as well as further cooperation with African nations. The Head of State invited the Republic of South Africa to join the implementation of the Grain from Ukraine initiative and participate in the second summit of this humanitarian program, which will take place soon in our country.
Welcoming the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to the beginning of his work in Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked for the support of our state’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within the UN framework. He emphasized the importance of Bangladesh’s support for Ukrainian initiatives aimed at restoring a just and sustainable peace.
Sultana Laila Hossain expressed gratitude for the assistance of the Ukrainian government in evacuating Bangladeshi citizens at the beginning of the full-scale invasion by Russia. Special attention was given to the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula. Volodymyr Zelenskyy proposed that Bangladesh join the implementation of the Formula and delegate a representative to participate in relevant national security advisors’ meetings.
Prospects for establishing cooperation in the trade and economic sphere were also discussed, particularly regarding the supply of Ukrainian agricultural products to Bangladesh. The President suggested intensifying efforts to establish a Joint Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Bangladeshi Commission on Economic Cooperation.
During the conversation with Ambassador Oumar Kande, the Head of State noted that Ukraine and Guinea have significant potential for cooperation in the economic direction. Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized Ukraine’s interest in expanding the representation of Ukrainian businesses in Guinea, as well as diplomatic presence of our country on the African continent.
The Head of State pointed out that this task remains one of the priorities for Ukrainian diplomacy. He also highlighted the significant potential for cooperation between the two countries within international organizations and expressed hope that the Republic of Guinea would support Ukraine’s resolutions in the United Nations General Assembly. Guinea was invited to participate in the second international summit of the Grain from Ukraine initiative, which will take place in the near future.
The Russian military & conscripts will win when Putin stops the invasion and lets them live to go home to Russia.
