A media watchdog went over images from the October 7 massacre published in the world's leading outlets, posing question that are both shocking and self-evident
Many of the most shocking images from the October 7 come from the Palestinian terrorists who perpetrated it. And yet, quite a few of the photos published by the world's leading media outlets, including AP, CNN, The New York Times and Reuters, raised troubling questions regarding how the persons whose names appeared in the photo credits found themselves on the scene of the worst antisemitic massacre since the Holocaust.

Because Hamas and Israelis were posting them all over social media? Just because those agencies post them doesn’t mean they have photographers on site. They would be credited to whomever posted them.

Why would they have to cut ties with photographers if they didn't have them?
You are not correct. Major news media obtains photos from the owner of the photo, obtains permission to use it and pays that photographer.
I was as professional photographer for 15 years.
I understand how it works. You post it on social media and one of the minions from those services calls/writes and asks to use them. You get a credit. And usually…no money. That’s why this stuff is all amateur work.
They don’t have embedded photographers there. The original post is conspiracy tripe.

That’s not what a photo credit is.
They don’t have embedded photographers there.
And you know this with 100% certainty? How?
Last I heard, 29 journalists there have been killed in the last month. He survived but the Fox reporter in Ukraine is blessed to still be alive.
The photo needs Mosaad represented by Jeffrey Epstein to be more accurate
The way freelance journalism works is that a freelancer takes photos, then sells them to a news outlet such as CNN. If CNN buys that photo, the freelancer then 'becomes' a CNN journalist.
