Given we are a constitutional republic, how are referenda compatible with representative republics? It seems they are neat as can be a pure democratic form of governing.

The sanctity of life is a plank in the GOP platform. Too bad so few GOP elected officials adhere to their party’s platform.
That was a BS study. To convict children as being the source of crime is reprehensible. It’s the parents.

The left will rue putting abortion into state constitutions. This will help single men who aren’t ready to become parents. They will be able to break free of the financial tether the courts are using against them. When abortion becomes a constitutional right, it applies equally. Even if they claim “a woman’s right to abortion,” it’s a new world now and anyone can be a woman - even an impregnating one. There will have to be an accommodation made to facilitate the right to abortion to the non-pregnant partner. A legal separation if you will, that permanently revokes parenthood, without interference.
There’s one way to get liberals to be “pro-life” overnight.
Just encourage black people and illegal immigrants to get abortions.
Slavery wasn’t left up to the states.

Since this is a state constitutional amendment, men should use it to further rights of the father.... men should be able to not pay child support if they don’t want the child, right?
Hopefully, this will be a wake up call for women, and they will keep their legs closed until marriage.
