When polled head-to-head with Trump, DeSantis does not fare much better—and still trails Trump significantly. In such a question, Trump maintains majority-level support at 59 percent and DeSantis only grows his numbers to 29 percent—meaning DeSantis in a head-to-head with Trump in his own state trails the former president by 30 percent.

I like DeSantis. But this isn’t his year. Never was.

Trump continues to suffer from DeSantis Derangement Syndrome - is anyone going to tell them that he actually has to run against and beat Biden, not DeSantis?

Maybe after his Meghan Markle debate he can refocus on what matters.

Desantis was the best path. His age, proven track record of solid conservative leadership and above all else he hasn’t been smeared by the media like Trump.

However, as I’ve said before, if the country wants to nominate him as the Repub candidate I’ll be in line to vote for Trump again….3rd time. And if this is true and Desantis can’t even win Fl it seems certain.

Also as I’ve asked before what is to keep Trump from losing again? Left still hates him, moderates are still wishy washy. Seems like a possible rerun.

And if your reply is “but he was cheated in 2020” then what had been done to fix that?

The polls make sense. President Trump has boatloads of supporters in Florida. (pic)
