Well, sure. And that shows just how stupid/complicit the RNC is.

Would the DNC accept Mark Levin or Michael Savage as a debate moderator? No way. Of course not. But the RNC is perfectly happy with Lester Holt.

I’m just surprised the RNC didn’t pick Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as a moderator. But maybe the RNC is saving her to moderate the general election debates.

Tim Scott is still in the race? I forgot he existed.

“ We are especially honored to be the first political party to partner with a Jewish organization for a debate in our partnership with the Republican Jewish Coalition”

I’m sure they are sincere…

Nominating Lara Logan or Brigitte Gabriel for debate moderator.

I like DeSantis and Scott but Haley and Christie are unadulterated jokes.

That said, if Trump is on the ballot come election day, like millions of others, NOTHING can stop me from voting for him.

Pence, Burgum, Hutchinson, Elder, and Suarez will be debating in the parking lot if anyone’s interested.

I’m just surprised the RNC didn’t pick Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as a moderator.

Alex Stein showed you how to handle AOC. The Republicans are typically not smart enough to handle their opponents like this.

I think I speak for everyone when I ask the question “why is the RNC so afraid of Perry Johnson?”

When everyone gets their news and entertainment online, that won’t be a problem, but for now many people still watch broadcast TV. The party needs the networks to reach them, and the networks demand that the party use their anchors as moderators.

Half the uniparty is dying right in front of our face, hope this is an indication of things to come.

The GOPe is the definition of insanity, without question as far as I am concerned.

Keep trying the same thing over & over again expecting a different result this time.

On top of that, they waste so much money. But they have lobbyists that will continue funding their insanity, because is actually benefits them financially.

If Ronna can’t get a better moderator here, then how will the general moderators be better than in the past?

I would rather watch paint dry.

* * *

No, actually. Sometimes there are moments of humor as the participants attack each other or the moderators ask them to raise their hand and candidates look around at each other to figure out what to do.

It may not be worth waiting for those brief magical moments. Better to read or watch the analysis of what happened the next morning.

So get your popcorn ready in the early hours!

You have that backwards.

The “News departments” at Networks exist wholly to provide “news” content. They must-have a never ending stream of fresh content constantly. The notion that they would black out a major party debate because they were not allowed to pick the moderators is absurd nonsense. If they tried it, their competitors would gleefully seize on the access they refusing

It part of the excessive beta male mentality at the top of the GOP-E that they have no idea at all how to use their power.

I MIGHT be inclined to watch if they chose the right moderators. Since Rush isn’t available, I’d like to see (no particular order — as they come to me):
1. Miranda Devine
2. Julie Kelly
3. Cheryl Atkinson
4. Michelle Malkin
5. Star Parker
6. Katie Pavlich
7. Candace Owens
8. Xi Van Fleet, author of “Mao’s America: A Survivor’s Warning”
