Throughout all of this it is essential keep firmly in mind that the stated, unnegotiable position of terrorist groups like Hamas is that before any peace negotiations can begin, Israel must cease to exist. This is why this conflict is not a political war that can be solved through political solutions ... it is so very clearly a religious war which the enemies of Israel will accept only one solution ... and that solution "ain't political" ... it's not about LAND!
Unfortunately, some may slip out with the civilians.
These people are just going to grow back another head.

5 days would be more than enough to rearm also. Missles don’t grow on trees or out of thin air! Eventually Hamas will run out of all military supplies if not given the opportunity to rearm.
Israel needs to NOT let up! Just bulldoze and fill in all the tunnels and bury the wanna be Nazi’s alive.
The only way to do it:
Hamas releases all hostages.
Then a 3 day ceasefire.
The moment Hamas fires one bullet etc Israel starts up again.
Remember, a top Hamas was asked if they would cease fire also.
He said no, they would keep killing jews.
Ceasefire for thee but not for me.
IN other words, it won’t work but my scenario is the only option.
Of course Hamas will renege.
But, INSIST HOSTAGES RELEASED, And then IDF will pause
When they say no, continue as before.
NO QUARTER!

Destroy Hammas and make the Gaza strip unusuable for any future attacks.
Hammas cemented all public opinion against them.
