IDF troops met with a disturbing tactic at base of Hamas's Force 17 near Jabaliya; 'We stand ready to face more instances of such cynical and brutal use of civilians,' Israeli officer says.
IDF troops who engaged in fierce combat with Hamas terrorists for control over an operations base in the Gaza Strip were met with a disturbing tactic: roughly 100 women and children were pushed forward by Hamas to act as a human barrier.

Yes. No reason why (other than safety of IDF) that the IDF couldn’t detain them, move them behind the front lines, interrogate them, and get foreign diplomats and relief agencies to work on temporary resettlement outside of the war zone.
The only jackasses who care about these women and children human shields are the student load deadbeats who support Hamass.
Use tear gas to clear the screen of women/children.
“Shoot them, they’re just as guilty as Hamas.”
I agree on both points, but, much easier said than done.
For a country like Israel, who has long gone out of it’s way to minimize civilian casualties, the repercussions from having to kill people they would normally protect with their own lives are going to be huge. Now and in the future. The ripples of PTSD into the future is something that can’t be quantified by keyboard kommandos like myself, thousands of miles safe from the actual mayhem.
Doesn’t matter.
Putting humans in that position, to have to shoot at/through women and children to get to the bad guys, will leave a mental break in every soldier that has to face such a horror.
Remembering what the evil people that need killing did to motivate yourself to do the unspeakable will help them do the deed, but those memories will make them suffer for the rest of their lives.
This is an old, but effective tactic.
Ironically that was the rationale for the decision to start gassing the Jews, instead of shooting them, like at Babi Yar. It was deemed "too inhumane", for the people shooting them, that is.
How did IDF handle it? Would attack drones coming in from behind be a tactic??
The problem with the Palestinian human shields is that if given the opportunity, they would kill an IDF soldier as quick as the Hamas.
As a James Bond fanatic I would look forward to the pleasure of seeing Live and Let Die for the first time (probably my 10th or more now). My late wife never liked the silly humor trend that started with that one but I loved it. And the great Japhet Kotto was so good as the villain and ended up being the beloved good guy in his Homicide: Life on the Street award winning role.
Yep, that cartoon was the very first thing I thought of. It’s real.
I believe that Israel needs to release unedited pictures. Release them all. Nothing says horror than seeing the gore. Remember, when ProLife organizations show pictures of aborted babies the left goes full libotard.
It’s from an Israeli source and we know they never lie about anything, right?
The women will breed with Hamas, creating a new generation of raping throat-cutters. The children are already well on their way to being raping throat-cutters.
The actions of the Hamas savages on Israeli civilians speak of total violence, total war - they have no regard for women and children except to rape and murder them.
Lord God, forgive me for feeling this way...
IDF soldiers will put themselves in front of children to protect them. Musloid pigs do the opposite.
Cowards. When is Israel going to flood the tunnels and drown these rats?
Gazans elected a Hamas government, they love Hamas, so it’s hard for me to be sympathetic.
Ever wonder why your father or relatives didn’t talk about war?
Because war is hell on earth. Once Israel declared War, civilians will be casualties. IF people living today don’t grasp this fact, their cognitive faculty has been deliberately crippled for this very moment in history: the war to save Western Civilization from descent into a hell worse than War.
All men who possess a soul and an ethical code do not wish to sacrifice civilians in war. And I beg to differ, shell shock or PTSD, is not what all soldiers suffer because the mission requires life or death choices. Read Patton’s Speech to the Third Army for reference.
Agreed. The Japanese did the same thing with their civilians at Saipan and Okinawa. The Marines who fought through them did have nightmares about what they had to do for the rest of their lives.
War is cruel. This is how Hamas wants to fight it then so be it.
After what happened on 10/7 the is nothing off the table.
The IDF needs to go Biblical here. Scorched earth, wipe them out to the last generation, no stone left on top of another and then salt the earth.
