Another reason not to fly.
Diversity hiring is a way to get a bunch of nincompoops. Hire the best person for the job. Don’t interview. Just go by test scores.
This is so consistent. The military now ignores merit, so why not the FAA?
I’m so glad I don.t use air lines.
Cheer up, it could get worse.
And whether or not we do, it will get worse.
Everything touched by the left turns to Obamastuff.
I’m telling you - private rail travel is going to make a big comeback
If that doesn’t make you want to fly I don’t know what will.
Dumb unqualified stupid “diverse” people in charge of your life because of the color of their skin
And people doubt that this Regime will collapse.
Flight 76 Into the Panderverse....
Affirmative action pilots and affirmative action air traffic controllers… what could possibly go wrong?
Maybe they will order up some bud light and pay it forward with the wayward spent fed moneys theys getting?
Hey, something bound to come of this, right?
The affirmative action malignancy has reached Stage IV.
As a retired ATC(NorCal TRACON), I can assure you that the Diversity Hiring will not be an issue or not nearly as bad as it appears.
Why is that?
They will wash out.
MY wife and I are both retired airline pilots. She spent her last 4 years as a 747-400 captain flying the Pacific. When we were “furloughed” (laid off) during the ‘80s, she got hired by the FAA and went through school at the academy in Oklahoma City. In ‘85 she got fully certified as an enroute air traffic controller. (ARTCC.)
Her comment: “It was the HARDEST thing I have EVER done in my life!”. “In comparison, -737, -757/67, -747 type ratings and international flying were no big deal”.
Complex Systems Won’t Survive the Competence Crisis
Long story short. Diversity is replacing meritocracy. People who know how to run things are being replaced by people who do not.
Twenty years from now, we won't be able to drink the tap water because the people hired to ensure tap water is drinkable don't know what they're doing. Of course, we'll simply be told that we were never able to drink tap water.
That should work out well.
For some reason, Steve Urkel saying “Did I do that”? comes to mind.
It’s only a matter of time before some AA employee, hired for skin color, or sexual preference, or gender and dumb as a post flies an airliner with 500 people in it into another airliner with 500 people in it.
