I’m still praying, but certainly optimistic.
>> House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., joins ‘Hannity’
I like what I see of Speaker Johnson... but giving his first interview with Hannity makes me question his judgment a bit.
Saw 10 minutes. Speaker Johnson is extremely impressive and concise in his thinking. Godspeed to him.
Johnson: “I have decided after a day of contemplation, to resign from the US House and spend more time with my family.”
Just joking.
Did Vannity let the guy get a word in edgewise?
It was an excellent interview!
Impressed!
You mean he’s a Christian talking like a Christian?
I’m in!
Hannity...was he allowed to even say anything?
I can’t believe that the new Speaker is supporting more funding for Ukraine.
What a disappointment.
What is desperately needed is a forensic audit on money already sent, not more of the same.
Putin is a beast, but the enemy is radical Islam, Iran and Obama, not Russia.
Well, I enjoyed one day of happiness with the new Speaker.
The very next day he validates the spending of the swamp without oversight.
Nothing will change, despite all the hoopla from the GOP House members.
The status quo remains…
Trump 2024 is our very last hope.
If they steal it from him again, it’s Armageddon, at least for America.
I’m still celebrating that Nasty Pelosi the mafia princess is gone.
Too bad it was with Hannity - damn, that dude just can’t shut up for a second even. Shaun uses the pronoun “I” even more than Obama does.
Very impressive interview!
Oh my.
How about we wait for his actions and not his words?
The GOP has had us wandering around the ‘political desert’ for 40 years looking for the “new” Reagan.
Haven’t seen Hannity for years. He’s looking old.
Folks, I know the district he is from. It is a part of Louisiana that is very conservative. Lots of farming areas.
A lot like deep woods East Texas. I did a lot of service work in the paper mills in that area for 20 years. I don’t know this guy from the man in the moon, but I can vouch for the people who sent him to DC. Good people.
We will see how this all works out.
Yes he does--I especially like his reaganesque world view of "peace thru strength."
Hannity actually conducted a good interview.
Excellent interview by Hannity. He managed to mostly not interrupt Speaker Johnson when he was speaking..
My initial reaction is that I am happy McCarthy was jettisoned and this guy seems like a good replacement, saying most of the right things.
Now the tough part, putting the words into action. If he can accomplish what he says, he will go down in history as an historic speaker of the house. If he does nothing for two years, he’ll be a footnote.
