He mentioned no more money until there was an audit.
I’m waiting to break out the champagne when it’s a permanent condition. There are others on the champagne list (which keeps getting longer) as well.
Folks, I know the district he is from. It is a part of Louisiana that is very conservative. Lots of farming areas.
A lot like deep woods East Texas. I did a lot of service work in the paper mills in that area for 20 years. I don’t know this guy from the man in the moon, but I can vouch for the people who sent him to DC. Good people.
We will see how this all works out.
Yes he does--I especially like his reaganesque world view of "peace thru strength."
The last perfect person died about 2000 years ago, executed by a tyrannical government.
Hannity actually conducted a good interview.
No, the enemy is ISLAM. There is no "radical" vs. non-radical islam. The entire bogus religion is based on the subjugation and/or elimination of all non-muslims. How many times do they have to say it, and do it, before the rest of humanity recognizes it for the cancer that it is?
Excellent interview by Hannity. He managed to mostly not interrupt Speaker Johnson when he was speaking..
He’s 61. He’s eligible for social security next year. Of course he’s looking old.
Seems all good to me!
“I’m waiting to break out the champagne when it’s a permanent condition. There are others on the champagne list (which keeps getting longer) as well.”
This reminds of a quote by Clarence Darrow “I have never killed a man, but I have read many obituaries with great pleasure.”
My initial reaction is that I am happy McCarthy was jettisoned and this guy seems like a good replacement, saying most of the right things.
Now the tough part, putting the words into action. If he can accomplish what he says, he will go down in history as an historic speaker of the house. If he does nothing for two years, he’ll be a footnote.
it’s sad that he would go on Hannity rather than Newsmax or OANN. (need to get OANN uncensored and back on the air).
His statement about weapons for Ukraine is a huge concern and possibly why the neocon globalists all voted for him. but the devil is in the details so we’ll have to wait to see what gets proposed. keep “vacate” locked and loaded in case we’ve gotten hoodwinked again. Auditing past uke funding without spending new money is likely a good thing. I’m hoping and praying for the best.
He always has a pen in his hand. It's his pacifier.
I always liked that quote ! :-)
He actually did a pretty decent job. He let the guy talk all he wanted without interruption.
I didn't hate Hannity by the end.
Articulate, his order and organization of conversation remind me of Ted Cruz in how well considered they are. That Ted is writing the script in his head is one of the only things I like about him. He has a very good command of the facts Understands differences but also understands that we have a position of impossible compromise He is concise in his speech He is Constitutional but more importantly God centered. He gets rule-of-law. Let's see what he can do about it.
He is a new target. They will do all they can to destroy him and make him a failure if they can't do that. If they have to destroy us to do that they will.
The left seems to hate and fear him. That makes him my kind of guy, well, at least he is over the right targets.
