Special counsel Jack Smith's team is accusing former President Donald Trump of threatening Trump's former chief of staff, Mark Meadows, after an ABC News report on Tuesday detailed some of what Meadows allegedly told investigators about Trump and the 2020 presidential election, including that he repeatedly told Trump in the weeks following the election that allegations of significant voting fraud coming to them were baseless.
The ABC News report said that, according to sources, Meadows was granted a form of immunity under which the information he provided to the grand jury in March -- before Trump was indicted in Washington -- can't be used against him in a federal prosecution.
After the ABC News report, Trump posted to his social media platform, Truth Social, that he wouldn't expect Meadows to "lie about the Rigged and Stolen" election "merely for getting IMMUNITY," but, "Some people would make that deal." "[T]hey are weaklings and cowards, and so bad for the future of our Failing Nation," Trump wrote.
In a filing Wednesday night to the judge presiding over Trump's federal election interference case in Washington, Smith's team said Trump's "harmful" post on Truth Social was trying to "send an unmistakable and threatening message to a foreseeable witness in this case."
Smith's team argued to U.S. District Court Judge Tanya Chutkan that the alleged threat is just one more example of why a limited gag order in the case is needed as soon as possible.
Chutkan had issued such a gag order early last week but then temporarily suspended it after the former president's legal team appealed the judge's order to a higher court. ***

To me any potential threat and gag order are secondary in this article, the most important item is Mark Meadows being given limited immunity to testify before the grand jury in Washington.
You don’t get any form of immunity unless the prosecution is aware of the damaging information you have and they want it to nail the top person, which is Trump.
Again, if this information is true, Mark Meadows could end up being the 2023 version of John Dean.
Trump should be prepared by now. No one will stand by him. All saving their hide.
Now we know the story that Meadows was an FBI agent spying on a sitting President is true.
The fix is in...obviously...in the DC case.The Big Guy’s puppet masters will make sure that the trial is either in progress in October/November 2024 or that the convictions occur before then.

If Trump mentions anyone by name or in any of his statements implies that he is addressing his comment toward a specific person then he is “threatening” that person. For example, if he says, “Joe walked in and I said hello to him” that is a clear threat against Joe. Similarly, if he says, “Someone in the third row sneezed” then he is threatening the safety of the entire third row. If he just sits there staring at the floor that’s the worst kind of threat because that causes terror in everyone that then has to come in contact with the floor and it’s worth considering that he’s threatening all future generations on the planet because they might, at some point, hear his name and be turned to stone.

I don’t think Mark Meadows would lie about the Rigged and Stollen 2020 Presidential Election merely for getting IMMUNITY against Prosecution (PERSECUTION!) by Deranged Prosecutor, Jack Smith. BUT, when you really think about it, after being hounded like a dog for three years, told you’ll be going to jail for the rest of your life, your money and your family will be forever gone, and we’re not at all interested in exposing those that did the RIGGING — If you say BAD THINGS about that terrible “MONSTER,” DONALD J. TRUMP, we won’t put you in prison, you can keep your family and your wealth, and, perhaps, if you can make up some really horrible “STUFF” a out him, we may very well erect a statue of you in the middle of our decaying and now very violent Capital, Washington, D.C. Some people would make that deal, but they are weaklings and cowards, and so bad for the future our Failing Nation. I don’t think that Mark Meadows is one of them, but who really knows? Mark Meadows NEVER told me that allegations of significant fraud (about the RIGGED Election!) were baseless. He certainly didn’t say that in his book!
