Although most voters expect to watch next month’s debate among Republican presidential candidates in Miami, more than half of GOP voters agree with a suggestion that the Republican National Committee should cancel “all future debates.”
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 55% of Likely U.S. Voters are likely to watch the November 8 Republican debate, including 26% who are Very Likely to watch it. Forty-two percent (42%) they’re unlikely to watch the next GOP debate, including 21% who are Not At All Likely to watch it. Two-thirds (66%) of Republican voters are at least somewhat likely to watch the debate in Miami. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
It’s an insane and inane exercise in detachment from reality.
GOPe clearly want Trump to be imprisoned or otherwise removed from race.
This pantomime makes no sense otherwise.
It’s always a rerun.
What debates?
Prime example of why money should never be donated to the RNC. They will just waste it. By this point in the campaign only those with 20% or more should be debating.
That’s like reading about Colin Kapernick in the news. Get ready for my next post in a few.
This just shows how fake these polls are. They say that almost half of the democrats are going to watch a republican debate(do the math). And over all they plan to get like 125 million viewers(Half of adult population). I don’t believe that. The last debate had less than 10 million people watch.
Put a different way, people want to end the charade that these are debates AND especially since they are rigged against Trump he won’t participate.
Easy solution, exclude moderators who always insert themselves. Take the top 10 issues and list it as an “issue” i.e. war in Israel.
Go down the line an each person gets 2 minutes to talk to the issue and only they have their mike on. After two minutes, you go to the next person.
When all get their two minutes, you change the order and move to topic two, etc.
That way if some ars wants to sit there and attack Trump and not address the issue, they look like the fool.
Dee baits? Works is good.
They aren’t even debates, they are orchestrated events for candidates to present their talking points and for the moderators to try to look relevant.
Haven’t watched a single one. It’s either Trump or DeSantis, and it’s no longer DeSantis.
The other option is to somehow convince Brandon and Kamela to simultaneously decease, and swear in President Johnson.
Ronna is worse than worthless. She agreed to 3 rat assassins to moderate this one. When they made her chairman it was a brazen FU to the base

I think debates should be held and could be useful, in their present format, they are a waste of time.
The debates don’t need to be aired on TV, they could be streamed on the Internet and receive just as much attention.
What I would do is draw 2 and no more than 3 names from a hat, have those 2 or 3 debate, the next day the remaining 2-3 candidates would debate each other, keep the rotation going until everyone gets to debate everyone else, one on one.
The week after, you rotate the candidates and debate again, streaming it on the internet and then posting links so people can watch them later, use moderators that don’t ask stupid questions.
For example, ask each candidate to explain their position on Ukraine in detail, given them 7-10 minutes, have a rebuttal and then move on to the next question.
Each debate would only have 4-5 questions at most, everyone gets to debate everyone else using the same questions.

The less discussion of the issues and the less knowledge the better!
I’m not watching them, no need, voting for Trump no matter what. Don’t think any of them are even fit to be his VP, maybe transportation sec because the bar is so low.
The “ayes” have it.
52% of Republicans want the debate cancelled, and the other 48% won’t watch it either.
