The three-week-old Israel-Hamas war has sparked protests by some high school students in Fairfax County, Virginia.
Students, with their principals’ permission, have been walking out of classes for brief rallies on school grounds.
Scores of students at Mount Vernon High School crowded the school’s main plaza at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday and spent a half-hour chanting and rallying for the Palestinian people, especially the children.
The students hoisted homemade signs and unfurled the Palestinian flag.
There was a similar student protest earlier in the day at Edison High School.
Other student rallies are expected Thursday at Woodson and Falls Church high schools and on Friday at McLean and Lake Braddock high schools.
They need free helicopter rides.

These spoiled brats sure don’t!
Indeed.
Likely will.
Several factors: mommy and daddy, Harveywood, their indoctrination camps aka public schools, their teachers, the lamestream media and the whole demonrat party.
Who has f’ed them up this badly?”
Have you heard of the Teacher’s Union? Then have you heard the Teaches union? Some of the most radical leftists in the county. That who has thees kids all day 5 days a week.
That’s northern Virginistan ... lots of middle eastern types abound there, and they’re not Israelis.
I would guess that many or most of the demonstrators attend local mosques, with their immigrant parents.

Little zombies. They have NO idea what they are backing.
Exactly! They didn't come up with this and I doubt that their parents led them to it either.
What percentage of government school faculty would be left behind during a rapture? 90%? 95%?
well since they are all Semites technically no
religious bigotry yes
the jew’s crime is being non-muslim
Things may be turning around. Many millions of dollars are being pulled out of Harvard because of President Gay’s response to the student Palestinian support. The Kennedy school alone is losing millions. Anyone supporting Hamas right now is taking a risk.
I guess they're going to miss the lesson on the Holocaust that day.
Fairfax County? Probably about 95% would remain.
I went to high school in Fairfax County in the 70s. Most of that area was pretty conservative at the time, but even then, there were the bearded, longish-haired English and Government teachers slipping socialism into their lectures and class discussions.
It’s important to realize that this is a suburb of DC.
The principal gave permission? Fing high school students mostly don’t care that much about anything but how they look to their peers. Beyond that anything for fun. The principal was using the students as a prop.
I’d like to believe you are right. But I don’t think so.
There have been some high profile defundings. And some job offers rescinded.
But we continue to see radical proHamas and anti Israel protests on the Ivy League campuses.
Those little careerist jerks know better than anyone what will help or hurt their pathetic careers. The fact they got in there shows they know how to mold and present themselves to the gatekeepers of the Regime (which is what the Ivies are) .
If they are still doing this pro-Hamas stuff, it means it is neutral or positive for their future careers.
The proponents of Israel are just cowed. Look at Democrat politicians. They are disproportionately Jewish but they are too scared to even criticize a cretin like Omar. And the entire Democrat leadership has disappeared on this issue.
That’s because they know the future for the left is pro Hamas, anti Israel and they don’t want to get on the wrong side of it.
Like hating Trump, hating Jews makes them feel warm and pleasant about themselves. Disgusting.
They’ve been taught this hate by their professors and teaching assistants all the way. Nearly all of them nod and agree about exactly the same things or risk being shunned and not invited to fun gatherings.
