Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday said that Hamas is not a terrorist organisation, but a liberation organisation which is carrying out a struggle to protect its land.
In a speech to his party's lawmakers in the country's parliament, Erdogan urged Israel and Hamas to declare an immediate ceasefire. He further said that Muslim nations should act together for lasting peace in the region.

Turkey is using NATO for their own ambitions, weaken Russia, so they can re-establish The Ottoman Empire.
Israel is going ahead with their land invasion soon. The time and date has been chosen.
Hamas is not a terrorist organization, even though their charter indicates that they are dedicated to the destruction of Jews and Israel??
It’s hard to understand the thought process of someone who denies they are terrorists, based on their own stated goals and their own terrorist acts. But there you have it.
Turkey had been a more secularized Muslim country. Perhaps this is a strong signal that Turkey will be more in line with strict Muslim theology?

It is not possible to have a serious conversation with such a man. It is ludicrous to assume that a country led by such a man is a reliable ally.
After the Israelis remove Hamas, let Turkey be the ones to have a protectorate government in Gaza. They can manage, and pay, for it. They used to have it before after all.
Hold them accountable for any future terrorism from that region.
Otherwise STFU.
If a mideast war erupts I expect Turkey to switch sides and join with Russia. They have the second largest military in NATO and control the Bosporus and therefore naval passage to the Black Sea. It would be quite the strategic loss.

So tell us chief, what the hell do you call maggots who cruise in on paragliders, start killing every living thing in sight to include infants, raping everything in sight, then calling their mummies and their daddies to brag about their body count while using the cell phone belonging one of the females they so bravely murdered. You might not call them a terrorist organization but I call them sewage.

Yes, the Ottoman Empire used to include present day Israel, and I think all or parts of Jordan and Syria and Saudi Arabia and Iraq too.
