A U.K. judge ordered a pregnant 11-year-old to get an abortion, ruling that termination was in the girl’s best interest, according to local media reports.
Court documents stemming from a private hearing last month have since been publicly released and show that a 10-year-old girl only identified as AZ was raped by a 14-year-old boy she met online. She was reportedly raped a few weeks later by another 14-year-old boy after her 11th birthday, the Independent reported.
"She became pregnant after being raped by a 14-year-old she met on the internet when she was aged 10, on the 18th or 21st of May 2023," London High Court judge Emma Arbuthnot, known professionally as Mrs. Justice Arbuthnot, said in her ruling.
"She was raped by another 14-year-old boy on the 11th of June 2023, but he did not make her pregnant."
She was about 14 weeks and six days pregnant during the hearing and told the court she was "happy" with the pregnancy, according to the Sun.
"When the many risks of continuing with the pregnancy were explained to her, AZ said she was ‘happy’ to be pregnant and wanted to continue with it," the judge said.
"Her views involved ‘naive magical thinking’ in her approach to the pregnancy," the judge added.
AZ explained the pregnancy made her feel "special," according to Arbuthnot, and her mother "supported AZ’s position."
A health board, however, applied for "declarations that termination of pregnancy would be in her best interests." A mental health consultant additionally argued that the girl "lacked competence" to carry through with the pregnancy, and a team of health specialists said the birth posed serious health risks to the girl, the Sun reported.

I chose the UK because with National Healthcare the Government seems to control some aspects of care, even when NH would not be paying the bill. These aspects are left to choice in the US. In several cases recently even though free care was offered abroad or donations were available, parents were refused the opportunity to take children abroad for specialized treatments and the children died.
We have a similar situation in the US where some hospitals commit very questionable medical kidnap (playing God in ambiguous situations).

14-year-old boys
Many young girls claim rape to escape punishment for cooperative sex. That would have needed to be explored. The kids were close enough in age it would not have been statutory rape.
If “lacked competence“ is the legal test for life, then there would be only a handful of government workers still breathing.
This lack of value for life and moral dystopia is disturbing.

I am not sure if these folks think they are cool, enjoy the fight and irritating someone, or if they actually believe that this philosophy is ethical.
But what I am sure of, is if it were their life, they won’t be so casual about it.
You see, modern Western liberalism (not to be confused with classical liberalism which is about maximizing freedom) is really just a bunch of superficial “great ideas” that sound good.
Example:
—Socialized health care is great. But don’t tell me what doctor to use or that my kid can’t get an MRI after bumping his head.
—Legalize drugs. But I don’t want my son using them.
—Legalize prostitution. But I don’t want my daughter being one.
—LGBTQIA is awesome. But it’s not really the way I want my kids to go.
—Raise the taxes on the rich! The rich being anyone that makes more than I.
—Censor reports by those crazy people that run against the Covid, election, J6 or Ukraine narrative, but don’t censor what I want folks to hear!
—Realize, no Constitutional right is absolute, you can’t scream fire in a theater, so accept more gun laws... But abortion needs to be without any limitations (late term), on demand (any reason, any time, no parental consent), tax paid for, even for illegals and in any form (surgical, abortive meds)...
—Capital punishment is wrong, it’s just revenge and that’s not Christian. But it’s not proper to ask what I would want if someone raped and murdered my kid.

Pregnancy happened to my younger sister’s 14-year-old daughter. After the shock wore off, my sister said “Make lemonade when dealt lemons”. She held a nice baby shower, and they got on with their lives. My young niece raised the baby with my sister’s help, later got gainfully employed, and now has several kids. No abortions wanted; my sister has 14 grandchildren now and is happy.

Even if they go thru with the abortion, her mother said the girl will most likely get pregnant again.
Does not sound like a rape to me, sounds like she is a dumb girl who wants the attention ( from boys, and from being pregnant) and her parent has no clue on how to stop this from happening. she can get a NOrplant in her arm.

My mother turned 14 three weeks after I was born and didn’t have a c-section.
Now I don’t know how big? Physically Mom was at the time but Mom has never been above 4’11” and 95-100 lbs.
So I’d guess she was a typically small little girl at 13.
My dad was 17 and yes, my parents raised my brother and I until we were grown.
