Bud Light has announced a $3 million scholarship project for families of America's fallen or disabled first responders - potentially as part of an effort to distance itself from culture wars after the Dylan Mulvaney partnership fiasco.
The beleaguered beer brand's parent company, Anheuser-Busch, is providing the funds for affected spouses and children alongside Folds of Honor, its longest-standing charity partner of over 100 years.
It comes after the popularity of the beer plummeted and sales dropped 30 percent when conservative consumers boycotted the drink over its partnership with 26-year-old transgender influencer Mulvaney in April.

Speaking of beer, every day I see the ads/posters for beer sales at my local 7-11 and always see one called Natty Daddy and ponder often why/who would come up with a name like that!!
Is this some brand appealed to by the afros or something?? Just curious often on it’s origins...
The sign of a good CEO is admitting you made a big mistake.
This is NOT a good CEO.
I'm no real judge of bud light because I have no use for any light beer {even Yuengling} but I can judge stupid ad campaigns, and bud stepped on it's crank wearing old fashioned steel spiked golf shoes {from which there is no recovery}.
All of the charities, superbowl ads, giveaways are never going to convince hardhat beer drinkers that bud light was not giving them the middle finger salute when they dressed a man as a woman and ridiculed all fat bellied, bald boys at the clubs...VFW, Firemans, Amvets, Moose, Eagles etal.
Newsflash...If you upset your customer base, they may not buy your stuff.
If they really wanted to change, stop funding anything, make a quality product and let the product sell itself. The best endorsements for their products came from big beautiful horses and cute dogs.
She’s probably still mad she didn’t get invited to the Frat gang**** back in the day.

A lesson the House GOP Rinos have not learned.
Yup. Financially destroy InBev. Any legal way possible. Way to little, way too late.
Lousy “beer” anyway.
P.S. they own Modelo breweries. They don’t distribute it in USA. Constellation brands does it.
That’s it??????
A lousy 3 mil???
GTH
I just saw Lime Bud Light in the store. That's disgusting!
Maybe they've had it for a long time - I've never bought their products.
We were at a restaurant last nite a friend says over at that table someone ordered a BudLite. We’re all looking over to see who ordered. What an Ad campaign disaster when people stop eating and discuss who it was that selected your product.
