If other policy issues of RFK Jr. hadn’t seen the light of day, that would have been a deal breaker.
There are many issues with RFK Jr. but reparations is deal breaker for me regarding any candidate.
He might say the things people want to hear about the CDC and the shots, outside of that he’s as Left as they come.
Every day, it seems, that people still so easily fall for anything these people say.
Granted, if I were President tomorrow I’d have him in the Oval Office and give him the opportunity to go after all of them, with extreme prejudice. See if he’s legit.

However Trump seems to have many similar programs advertised on his website as well, called the Platinum Plan for blacks.
Kennedy’s sounds worse, but not tremendously. It’s all vote bribing either way, using handouts which history shows are usually wasted.
In any case, I'm not interested in his ideas on reparations. No one who was a slave in the US is alive today. Most white Americans are descended from people who were dirt-poor in the 19th century, or who came to America after 1865, and had no involvement in slavery.
If slavery is so bad, why isn't anyone working to end it where it still exists today?

How about the benefits blacks have received from our white ancestors: communications and transportation marvels, mechanical marvels, civil engineering marvels, electronic marvels, clean, orderly environment, democratic government, relatively well functioning and fair law enforcement and courts. These things attract would-be immigrants by the millions.
Put those things into the equations and how much are they owed? Perhaps the reparations ought to be free tickets to leave our country.

Reparations only fuel an “ENVY Based” society, where each time you see someone successful, you are supposed to presume they are taking something away from you. That’s foolish and myopic.
