Rep. Cori Bush (D-Mo.) is leading a coalition of progressive representatives in calling for President Biden to work toward an immediate ceasefire between Israel and Hamas amid mounting concerns over an Israeli invasion into the Gaza Strip.
Israel has promised to eliminate Hamas in response to a barbaric attack earlier this month that left more than 1,400 Israelis dead, and has already pounded the Gaza Strip with missiles while telling residents of northern Gaza to flee for safety.
Bush introduced the Ceasefire Now Resolution on Monday urging Biden push for and facilitate a ceasefire and de-escalation of the conflict, and “promptly send and facilitate the entry of humanitarian assistance into Gaza.”

“Progressive representatives” Nothing progressive at all about that bunch, just a gaggle of left wing lunatics who hate America and Israel.
OMG SHE GOT JESUS TO CO-SPONSOR THE BILL!
Okay, not THAT Jesus.
“Joining Bush as co-sponsors are Democratic Reps. Rashida Tlaib (Mich.), Jamaal Bowman (N.Y.), Bonnie Watson Coleman (N.J.), Jesús “Chuy” García (Ill.), Jonathan Jackson (Ill.), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (N.Y.), Ilhan Omar (Minn.), Ayanna Pressley (Mass.) and Nydia Velázquez (N.Y.). “
All the usual filthy nazi suspects.
What next? A Change.org petition!
That is exactly correct. Her side is getting the tar beat out of them.
This is why lefties and commies all over the world are pressing for a cease fire. These people don’t give a shit about Palestinian civilians. They are getting word, from those still breathing, that their compatriots are being routed and they need someone to help take the pressure off so they can regroup.
Transparent, IMO.
Exactly what they’ve been saying.
“Rep. Cori Bush, D-Mo., has continued shoveling campaign cash to her husband, Cortney Merritts, but altered the description of the payments amid scrutiny. She has sent over $100,000 to him since she added him to the campaign’s payroll nearly two years ago.”
AOC has taught her well. Just another “honest as a nanosecond is long” Democratic success story.
Though lower than the slime trail left behind snails or slugs, this
sleazebag deserves credit for not hiding her antisemitism.
Good idea.
In every skirmish, conflict and outright war, Israel is pressured to agree to peace talks and a ceasefire followed by giving up land for peace. Then more war, weakened Israel without the land it surrendered, and more calls for peace talks.
How about NO!
Lardass represents her “community” in St Louis.
Instead of wringing her hands worrying about the Middle East, she should push for a “Ceasefire Resolution” in St Louis.
Rep. Cori Bush (D-Mo.), left, with Naveen Ayesh, a government relations coordinator for the St. Louis Chapter of the American Muslims for Palestine, at a campaign event. Naveen Ayesh has a history of calling for the destruction of Israel and vowing to burn “every Israeli” alive:
“I want to set Israel on fire with my own hands & watch it burn to ashes along with every Israeli in it. Call it what you want to call it IDC,” Ayesh wrote in 2014.
(No!)
makes me twitch just thinking about it.
“I want to set Israel on fire with my own hands & watch it burn to ashes along with every Israeli in it. Call it what you want to call it IDC,” Naveen Ayesh wrote in 2014
Naveen Ayesh - “a government relations coordinator for the St. Louis Chapter of the American Muslims for Palestine”
Exactly
They’re afraid they’re about to lose a lot of compatriots
She should put her body where her mouth is and lead the push to become a human shield for hamas! I think every progressive should join her. I wouldn’t even mind if the U.S. paid for one way tickets for their cause. In fact, every illegal living here in this country should sign up!
Too little, too late.
Should have convinced Hamas of that BEFORE they attacked Israel.
Yes she should. And take Ayanna Presley and Rashida Tlib and Ilhan Omar with her for support.
People in MO usually pick good officeholders but not with this woman!
