While speaking at the Human Rights Campaign National Dinner on Saturday night, President Joe Biden pushed for an “assault weapons” ban and asked, “Who in God’s name needs a weapon with 100 rounds in the chamber?”
Biden did not provide an example of a gun that holds 100 rounds in the chamber, but simply added, “That weapon’s only meant for one thing…to kill people.”
Biden emphasized that an “assault weapons” ban was enacted once at the federal level and declared, “As long as I’m in office I’m not going to stop until we get it done again.”

While this comment is totally inaccurate (like everything else Pedo Joe says) defending against tyranny, defending your property, family comes to mind. My father in law and I once had this discussion and he asked me why I needed an assault weapon. After explaining to him my assault weapon is a semi-automatic weapon, just like my handgun is, the purpose of it is to defend his daughter and grandchildren from the loonies out there who want to harm us.
He didn’t buy that and pressed. I told him as Jews, we are always targeted by anti-Semites and other Jew haters and I refuse to be made a victim because the politicians he supports want to take these weapons from us in violation of my second amendment rights.

That “ban” was a joke. It simply banned firearms by name and accessories on them.
Band by name. the companies simply renamed them at “target rifles”.
Removed the flash suppressor, removed the bayonet lug (how many deaths by a fixed bayonet since 1900?)
made the stock solid.
replaced the 30 rd magazine with a 10 round magazine.(millions of 30 rd magazines still in circulation)
And the same rifles were still for sale all through the “ban”.
