yeah. think so
“frankly, i’m surprised it’s only 20. There are more than that owned lock-stock-barrel by the powers that be.”
There are lots more than 20. Probably most of them. But if the 20 block a non GOPe speaker, they don’t have to expose themselves and can pretend to be MAGA.
It isn’t a matter of math, it’s a matter of principle.
Any republican without republican principles should be voted out anyway. Good riddance.
Good riddance.
Depends on what game you are playing. I live in New England, where expulsion of the RINOs from Federal office has resulted in replacement by extreme leftists.
Now, the FR believers in an imaginary Republican Party view this as an opportunity to use that imaginary GOP to make things better.
But, since large majorities of Americans despise the objectives of the actually existing GOP, reducing that actual GOP to permanent minority status by expelling the “RINOs” will defeat your objectives before you get started.
The solution to the RINO problem is to replace the GOP with a real right wing party that will work on behalf of Americans and reverse the disastrous errors of the actually existing GOP when they have been given power since 1994.
Any republican without republican principles should be voted out anyway. Good riddance.
That's great. But that's really up to their constituents, isn't it? I don't live in a House district that Biden won, so I can't vote for or against any of the 18 Republican House members in those districts.
Ankle biters are posting. The RINO poo is over there, go play in it.
Trump wil have huge caottails. I am not worried about ‘24 at all.
I don’t have a clue what you’re talkin’ about Slick.
“… The only reason people vote for them is that they’re the lesser of two evils.”
Yes, with a two party system this is what we’re stuck with.
To win elections the R party must become disciplined, and loose coalitions must agree to coalesce around the party platform, hammered out and agreed to well before elections. Also, party mavericks must feel the heat for crossing party lines.
A majority of America TAX PAYERS are not addicted to government spending,
I don't think it will be Hakeem, they'll never get rid of him.
Manu Poojab is just stirring the sh!tpot with his #MSM Big Lie Of The Day - the vote will happen tomorrow and then we will see - there's no reason not to just the Interim Speaker roll on in situ while this sorts itself out.
They want someone who will cover up their thieving, lying, and criminality, and keep the 💰💰💰 rolling in.
And the only reason I registered as a Republican is because Utah has a closed primary.
It’s what the GOPe has always been
A fractious party of liberals moderates and so called righties
The dems were barely different till post Johnson
And they’ve gotten wackier
Uniformed here don’t like to know the actual conservatives were for a long time Goldwater wing pubs and Dixiecrats at least on culture and govt influence in victims redress
That ship has sailed
Now it’s uniparty with maybe 30% of house pubs in line with much of this forum and that ain’t enough and includes few leaders
The democrats are woke greens now almost 100%
We have Trump and the votes barely
And that’s reflected in our states govt compositions
They own everything else except twitter now
Every damn institution
It’s not good
Posters here thinking it’s just about parties are asleep
It’s so corrosive in culture
They made a few inroads with Xers
After it’s snowballed
Todays younger women are in particular indoctrinated
Sorry to be negative
Bama RINO Rogers has endorsed Jordan,
not getting my hopes up atill

I think a lot of people are starting to question the efficacy of this binary choice. A viable third party movement could bring about some potential benefits and choices. More choices is usually a good thing.
Come to think of it, we only have a one party system (i.e., the Uniparty) now so a “third” party would, in actuality, be like having two parties.
Those are senators, so no.
“Ironically, this would tend to absolve Gaetz and the other 7 conservative ‘disrupters’....”
Who cares about absolution?
Vindication and absolution are touchy-feely terms that don’t diminish the damage the 8 dissidents did to the caucus. Once they established that a miniscule fragment of the party can wreak havoc it gave license to all the other attention freaks to trash the will of the majority.
The point is that you are a hypocrite if you call out Gaetz and not this handful of RINOs blocking Jorden.
