That’s right. Iran also controls the escalation with proxies in Syria and South Lebanon, as well as a possible direct conflict with Israel.
So Israel is right on the edge of a multi-front war, when they want to use almost all of their available military in Gaza.
What a joke. Biden has no leverage over Iran. They laugh at his military threats.
What is he going to do ? Send them another $16 billion ?
The irony is that the only country that has any real influence over Iran or Syria is Russia.
I think Israel has known this would multi-front from the outset.
We will see how fast this escalates. The most potent weapon Iran really has is closing the Straits of Hormuz. That will cause great pain worldwide without creating a massive response attack on Iran itself. But who knows what this chaos will turn in to? I don’t think the current U.S. administration and the current U.S. military leadership is up to this kind of wildly unpredictable situation across practically an entire continent of potential fronts.
It isn’t ironic, it is for them Hamas made the move in the first place.

Nope. I think under the scenario you have described it would bring us directly at war with the parties mentioned and perhaps with Iran as well.
