We will see how fast this escalates. The most potent weapon Iran really has is closing the Straits of Hormuz. That will cause great pain worldwide without creating a massive response attack on Iran itself. But who knows what this chaos will turn in to? I don’t think the current U.S. administration and the current U.S. military leadership is up to this kind of wildly unpredictable situation across practically an entire continent of potential fronts.

I am also very much concerned that the collective leadership, seeing Biden's numbers sliding not just past the margin of even industrial scale vote fraud, but to the point that the whole Democrat brand is endangered, will try to reverse that slide, by doing something as large in scale, as it is unwise, and extreme.
