GOP Rep. Max Miller on the classified briefing about Israel this morning: Miller won’t divulge info shared in room on Israel because it’s classified but - “I learned something very, very new within that room that has changed the scope and how I see this developing situation

Especially Hamas & Hezbollah in the USA.
That’s my guess.
Answer “A” to you 1st question is an extremely weak, senile US President with a continued record of weakness whenever a Dem is in charge (since Kennedy), and general disarray in the US where even the Pubbies in the US House can’t get their act together.
“B” is the continuation of the process that brought forth the Abraham Accords, with a 3-way deal between Saudi, Israel, and the US developing. This is badly needed to counter Iran’s growing influence in the region, and the likelyhood Iran will, sooner or later, have nukes. The Saudis, even with their enormous defense spending after GW2, were unable to put down the Houthis, so they know they are vulnerable to Iran and Iranian backed groups, especially if Iran can do credible nuclear sabre-rattling — much as we’ve seen from Russia. So, the Saudis want a defense pact with the US, and possibly even with Israel, to rebalance things. Possibly Saudi would buy Iron Dome missile defenses and other technology (including industrial) from Israel. The US gets cheaper oil.
The whole thing does make sense, although isolationist FReepers would have a fit at the idea of the US in a formal defense pact with Saudi. Iran would be facing a more cohesive Israel / Saudi / US bloc.
Given this (Biden) administration’s other attempts to buddy up to Iran, one might conclude Blinken & Co. are schizo. Well, that would explain some things...
For its part, an Israel / Saudi / Israel alliance would be anathema to Iran. So, blowing that up in the manner we are seeing would be to their advantage. They may have miscalculated though, by not realizing just how savage Hamas would be, and the degree of damage Hamas did likely seemed beyond Iran’s best hopes. They’ve put Israel into “survival mode”, which historically never ends well for Israel’s opponents.
That wouldn’t be “new” information.
I am wondering if the “hack attack” on Israel’s defense communications was even more sophisticated and or effective than thought, and I also wonder if its operation goes beyond Iran.
Another possibility is nuclear material in the hands of, say, Hezbollah.
Yet another is an attack planned to hit inside the USA.
Too many horribles to contemplate, I suppose... :-(
The “big secret” that has already been leaked is that Trump in 2017 told the Russians about a new way the terrorists found to hide explosives in a laptop on an airplane, so from that Hamas was able to figure out six years later that 5000 missiles would overwhelm Iron Dome.
Makes as much sense as anything else they say.
This appears to be even more recent:
Your claims seem questionable, given that you make the mistake of calling Iran an “Arab” land.
“ It could be the briefing itself was the CIA gaslighting (lying their asses off) members of Congress.”
******************************************************
Well, the CIA does, either through incompetence or malevolence, have a habit of presenting incorrect “intelligence”. Maybe they’re playing the RUSSIA-RUSSIA-RUSSIA card once again.
Absolutely!
That’s how I feel. It’s almost like a kid saying to his friend
“I know something you don’t know!” Either tell us plainly what’s going on, or zip it.
Israel has all the right in the world to conquer and subdue Gaza. It would be a sign of weakness if they fail to do so. If, say, California from Santa Barbara to the Mexican border were taken over by a Communist or Islamic radical group, and they attacked Phoenix or San Jose, killing 30,000 Americans, there would be no question of water the response would be, at least in a sane country.
Let me guess, Hamas cells are operating within the CONUS and dopey Joe let them waltz right in through his wide open border. Amirite?
They must have found out that Europe is now 65% Muslim since Obama’s civil war in Syria started, and will be providing even less support for Israel this time around.
Too many sips of grandpa’s cough medicine?…
:)
This twitter poat just raises unknown alarm but provides nothing but fuel for crazy speculation and people going off in all directions.
If there is nothing that can be provided to back it up then there was no need to post this on Twitter.
No doubt by now the spin machines all over the world in full tilt with different countries all using this debacle to back their own interests.
I hope Mr Miller is as alarmed about what has been coming over our border this week that he very much can talk about.
“will Israel enter Gaza today?”
Maybe better to enter at night, taking advantage of better night vision equipment.
Before a ground assault, the enemy should be kept awake at least three nights, to reduce their effectiveness.
Before entering on the ground, it might be preferred to wait for civilians to evacuate, which might require a few more days without power or water.
More preparation with air strikes, generally reduces the losses among the soldiers who must go in, so it might be better to wait a bit for the bombs to do their work, unless the schedule is driven by other concerns.
“I am wondering if the “hack attack” on Israel’s defense communications was even more sophisticated and or effective than thought, and I also wonder if its operation goes beyond Iran.”
That sounds like a real possibility and why he was so shaken up & couldn’t reveal more.
In other words, our intel. & defense abilities are just as vulnerable and we are at risk of a similar surprise attack.
Report this morning that it had been planned for 2 yrs
A year or two from now we will be reading how House members are “shaken” how terrorists who crossed our Southern Border could pull off such a massive terrorist attack in America w/o the FBI or CIA even knowing about it.
Biden keeps giving illegal invaders WORK PERMITS.
HE is defying I-9
HE is defying E-Verify
