actually, i think there are lotsa Dems whoo are now registered Republicans...except they aren't.
She can raise all she wants. She isn’t going to buy my vote under any circumstance.
Neither Nikki nor DeSantos are going anywhere. Not happening.
Wonder how many gals will be voting for Nikki because it is so important to get a woman into the White House? You know...just like the gals who voted for Biden to get Harris into the VP slot?
I also think there are lots of democrats who ran as republicans in congress.
The NY Times has not endorsed a Republican since Eisenhower.
May very well be. I can never get how Collins or Murkowski get elected. Surely Republicans in name only.
Now we are back to debating natural born citizenship?
This issue of natural born citizenship comes up a lot on Free Republic.
Some Freepers say that both of your parents must have been citizens when you were born, for you to be a natural born citizen.
Other Freepers say, that as long as you yourself were born in America, the citizenship status of your parents doesn’t matter. Those Freepers argue that since you didn’t have to be naturalized, that this means you are natural born.
So which Freepers are we supposed to believe?
When a comes to national office, that discussion was never finished. It may simply be down to us as individual voters, to have the final say, but I suspect eventually the Supreme Court will address it. Probably, when the first in eligible republican runs, you can be sure the Democrats will scream, bloody murder, and demand the Supreme Court speak up.
True, that may well happen. Democrats would not be intellectually honest on this, because both Obama and Kamala are not natural born, according to the strictest criteria some people use to determine status. But it may well be decided when Democrats decide to raise the issue.
I haven't kept up: Why is she ineligible?
She was born in S.C, and I think she's over 35... I don't think she would be running if she weren't eligible.
She is an anchor baby of two non-citizen parents.
Nick Knack Paddywhack Give a Uke a Bomb making a strong run at . . . DeSoros for a distant second. I predicted this-—that donors would dump DeSoros and move to her or White Lizzo.
