"Putin resigned from the KGB after the Soviet Union existed no more but he had a very good network that helped and that helped him come to power"
Former KGB sleeper agent Jack Barsky discusses the formative weakest moment that set Putin on the path to create a 'greater Russia'.

Total BS. People think a spy telling them something makes them feel special and the story must be true.
The fact is Putin was involved in the leadership of Russia for decades, since the 1980’s.
He was an agent until 1991, when he resigned. He was in the “leadership of Russia for decades,” even when he was stationed in Berlin?
Please get back to me with sources.
Please go read more than some dumb spy novel and think you’ve read the bible on Putin somehow.
Putin was the KGB’s money-man in East Germany, making sure terrorist groups like the Bader-Meinhoff Gang and others, were well-supplied to carry out their evil
those terrorists liked to attack West German malls and nightclubs, and they killed & injured several American GI’s along the way
Putin’s real legacy ... yet you always support this murderous thug
Coming from you, I take everything a canadian says with a grain of salt.
meaning you have trouble accepting the hard truth?
look up Putin’s bio ... prove me wrong, I dare ya
Is your name Dick by any chance? The most important thing for you today is to win some stupid word game on the internet.
Super spy or paper pusher? How Putin’s KGB years in East Germany helped shape him
you Russian shills seem quite verklempt this morning
guess Russia is still losing, huh
I’m interested in what he says as a former insider quite apart from his statements on Putin. It’s a long interview. But you’ve made a factual allegation about Putin’s status within the Soviet power structure during the 1980s. Fine. Back it up with...well, facts. Barsky says he resigned after the fall of the Berlin Wall, which means that he was in Berlin when the wall fell and afterwards. If that’s false, show me the true facts and their source.
FYI, I’ve read Night of Wenceslas, Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, and also Without Remorse. That is the extent of my spy novel readings, years ago. None of them mention Putin, not that I care. Spy novels are not all that interesting, really. Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Tom Sawyer, Little Man What Now? and Alone in Berlin are more my speed.
Ad hominem. Stir. Predictable.
I consider sources and prefer never to play into their stupidity. Never argue with an idiot, they will take you down to their level and beat you with experience.
Provide yours.

Don’t leave out China and now also Afghanistan.
Yes! China and Afghanistan are negative influences as well. They do not value human life.
Lots of insults being trolled at you but not one serious argument against what you posted. Probably because how do you refute information on Putin that can be validated on Ruzzian government and news sites?
All that’s left is to attack the messenger.
