On Saturday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Fox News Live,” Israeli Ambassador to the U.N. Gilad Erdan said the Hamas attack on Israel that happened on the Jewish holiday of Shemini Atzeret, the final day of the annual High Holy Day cycle, “is our 9/11” and “we said, since the Holocaust, where Jews were butchered and massacred, never again. And never again is today,” Erdan also argued that when Israel withdrew from Gaza, Hamas turned the Gaza Strip into “a war machine. We cannot allow this situation of Gaza as a war machine to continue. And we are committed, starting from today, to change the equation. We won’t have another 9/11.”
Erdan stated that while he won’t share military plans publicly, “[F]rom now on, we are committed to [using] every means at our disposal to restore our deterrence, and to exact from these animals a heavy price.” And “All options today are on the table. … This is our 9/11. We are committed to [changing] the equation, to shatter the old paradigm. These animals will pay a heavy price. And they will learn that these atrocities cannot be committed again against our civilians.”

Anything less than Hamas being driven out of power and its members being brought to justice isn’t good enough.

Then Israel is stupid.
Everlasting peace is not on offer. They can choose victory, or defeat. Those are the choices in war.
The reason Israel appears to be choosing slow defeat is because they do not have a vision of what victory looks like - and this may be because victory is not possible.
My concern: this is a dry-run for this same type of operation within the contiguous US. All of these illegal aliens jumping the border and a lot aren’t from South or Central America.
Remember all of the scares about “sleeper cells?” Well, we’re weak right now. Now is the time if there ever was one. And who would ride in to our rescue? The federal government. We’d just have to give up a lot of our rights and consent to 1st Amendment, 2nd Amendment, 4th Amendment, 5th Amendment, and 10th Amendment rights for safety. You know, it’s “an emergency.”
Keep your guns and ammo at the ready in case we’re attacked from within. OR, am I just being crazy?

I am shocked that Israel was caught so flat footed. The hostage situations are going to be the real deal on this. It will take iron determination to do what needs to be done without wavering because of the "executions" of grannys, etc. The enemy needs destroyed for sure. The videos of the kidnappings are heartbreaking. Maybe 20% or so can be rescued, who knows.
Biden’s pay big bucks for hostages shows the stupidity of paying for hostage release.

My hope is that Israel anticipates a nuke has been smuggled into, and is now under, Gaza and once flooded with Israeli soldiers, it will be detonated.
I wouldn’t put it past the enemy to do such a thing.
9/11 was an inside job to let them pass the Patriot Act so it would be available to use against pro-life Christian white supremacist domestic terrorists when the time came.
The U.S. is broke and I do not advocate for foreign aid to any nation. The U.S. should take a hands off approach to this conflict. The most we should do is offer moral support and sell Israel the weapons they need to once and for all eliminate this problem. Financing terms should be available. We should not go further into debt when Israel can do that on their own behalf. I strongly believe that the U.S. should refrain from any diplomatic support for Israel. I do not trust anyone at the U.S. State Department or within the Biden Administration. They eff up everything they touch. Let Israel handle this in their own manner. Hopefully, that will result in all of Gaza being destroyed and bulldozed into the desert. That is the permanent solution to this problem. The most we should say in response to Israel leveling Gaza is, “the U.S. fully supports Israel in all her efforts to bring peace, safety and stability to their homeland.”
I do not want to hear about over response, disproportionate retaliation or see any crocodile tears for Palestinians. They repeatedly attack Israel and there is only one solution. They need to be removed from the area so they are no longer a threat.
Rebuild the Temple.
Good luck finding the statement Biden initially released urging Israel not to retaliate. The rats quickly realized what a major screw up that was and deleted it. Too bad they can’t take back the 9B they gave Iran to finance this thing. Trump predicted this would happen and it did. Good luck finding that too.
