By their own rationale, the ONLY people who would be supporting Russia would be the ones who want to send billions of dollars TO RUSSIA.
Personally, I’m neutral in this war, and thus don’t support sending any money to either side. I strongly suspect the same is true for most here who have been libeled as being “Putin stooges” or whatever.

Is it reasonably or even remotely possible that Putin or anyone else COULD reassemble the old Soviet Union now. In some fashion? And is there a constituency of citizens over there large enough to really support such efforts to do so? Is there any perceived benefit for the average Russian Joe to live under a Soviet Union vs what they have now?
The Russian army is in the Russian Federation oblasts of Kherson, Zaporozhye, Donetsk and Luhansk.
