McConnell seems not to understand that removal would not take place if the speaker has the necessary support. McCarthy lost his support.
The motion to vacate isn’t the issue. Support is the issue.

This is the rule Pelosi eliminated for herself. The Freedom Caucus brought it back in their compromise to support RINO McCarthy.
