Scalise is a part of the leadership. How dumb is it to replace McCarthy with his number 2?

they have kinzinger listed as gop party affiliation. Just a side note of an error that needs correcting.

I assume Jordan has been in he house longer than Donalds. If so, Jordan would know more of the intricacies of house rules. Could be very important in all the maneuvering necessary to out smart the Dems.

In other words, Scalise is McCarthy 2.0 and unacceptable.

JJ has my vote, not that I get one of course. He does have my support at least. He’s one of the few good guys on the hill.

The only thing I’ve ever seen Jordan do is write strongly worded letters.

WHY?

Why change the rule, even if one person can call to “vacate the chair” that person has to get a lot of others to go along with it and then go on record with a vote.

I am assuming (we know what happens when we assume) that it takes more than saying “I don’t like you” to make a move like that.

They do have the best scores.

They score all the spending and anything deemed unconstitutional

Not many have big scores.

I’m surprised Jordan is 94%.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Otherwise we would have been stuck with McCarthy

McCarthy agreed to those rules, made promises to do a bunch of things, then FAILED TO DO THEM.

Are you OK with that?

And his bullsh*t Pablum-filled exit speech proves what a useless RINO he was.

“I am getting fired for doing the right thing” WRONG- If you had done the right thing you wouldn’t have had your ass handed to you.

You are right, I had forgotten about the multiple myeloma. As far as I know, five tears is about the all you can expect and that isn’t an easy five years.

This is an intraparty election. While it’s easy to treat it like a primary election, that’s not how it really works. First off, the candidates are good friends and are not throwing mud at each other. Secondly, the endorsements by fellow lawmakers are usually based on personal relationships the candidates already have with the members and deals that are being cut behind the scenes.

Sometimes, the candidates cut deals with each other over how many rounds they’re willing to before one throws their support behind the other. There’s talk right now about producing a unity slate with Jordan as speaker and Scalise remaining as maj.ldr if Scalise does not defeat Jordan.
