“Our country is facing $33 trillion of debt. Our border is facing an unprecedented invasion. And instead of being energy dominant, we are now energy reliant,” he said in a statement before the vote. “The House of Representatives and the American people deserve a leader who can challenge the status quo and put an end to this ruin.”

Rosendale would make a great senator wouldn't he? I think he's trying to unseat Tester?
In the interim, he would make a great Speaker of the House.
Just vote Patrick McHenry, the current Speaker pro-tempore to be the next speaker.
If not, choose Chip Roy.
FYI Chip Roy is a Nevertrumper
I’d pass on Roy.

That’ll be the position for many Freepers until we get a new Speaker.
When the new Speaker does get the votes....they’ll be a RINO...a Biden Republican... a sell out.....a weak Speaker.
Whoever it is, will have a lot of members of Free Republic bitching and moaning about not being conservative enough.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ THAT. EXACTLY THAT. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Rosendale - a handmaiden of the House Democrats. LOL!
This chaos will do nothing but help the ‘rat party. Republicans never stick together. That is why we are the stupid party
Jim Jordan.
The cry baby rino party should nominate retired General Mark Milley.
Never did trust a politician that wears a bow tie.
Another aspect of being a stupid party is failure to understand oil companies are not going to drill and pump oil if the price they get for it does not pay for the cost of getting it. Low gas prices a few years ago were very nice for us consumers, but when the price of a barrel of oil went below a certain level, a lot of the producers in places like North Dakota, shut down their operations to wait for higher prices. We are just starting to have high enough barrel prices to lure some of these producers back into production.
Of course there are other ways to get more oil produced, our government could force them to produce more oil and pay themselves less. I don’t quite see most conservatives or a lot of other Americans supporting such forced productions. Sounds sort of unAmerican.

Yup, 8 idiots sided with 208 Democrats
The democrats were on the run operating almost totally by reaction.
Matt Gaetz in his self perceived superiority has just derailed our salvation.
Watch;
McCarthy opened up the cameras so that we can now see Congress "at work", part of which has been terrific committee coverage into revealing criminality and corruption in our government.
I predict all of that is going to stop.
Of COURSE the CR was a reneging on a promise (of sorts), bur we didn't need this disruption.
Your comments defy your tag line there, keyboard commando.
Killing your own leadership is idiocy. You do know that McCarthy proposed a bill that cut spending and protected the border and idiots like Gaetz voted against it?
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
