McCarthy was the wrong guy to begin with. He's too RINO. That's why it took 15 ballots for his own party to confirm him.

McCarthy's primary mission as speaker was to figure out how to bypass his own caucus. For the GOP to conduct brinksmanship with their own speaker every time a bill was in committee (DoD appropriations, Ukraine funding, temporary spending bill) is no way to run day-to-day operations in the House.

Just start over and find someone you can trust.

Easy to find a guy you can trust. Much more difficult to find 217 republicans to agree on the person selected. RINO’s don’t want MAGA types and vice versa.

The RINOs on Fox News tonight are exposed. All of them whining like Dems. Constantly lying about McCarthy and his non-existent accomplishments.

Jordan said they stopped the omnibus hills and CRs which is a lie.

They act like their bills cuts, etc would last through reconciliation. They’d sell us out again.

Because we all know it’s worse than climate change if you “shutdown the government “!

No more status quo. Their way has helped destroy the country and everytime conservatives give them power they stab us in the back. 1994, Tea Party, 2010 all lost because of McCarthy type fakes. They destroyed the Reagan Revolution.

Enjoy the suck.

It’s their turn to come to our side for once.

The problem with a narrow majority is that it enhances the leverage of even tiny groups of fringe players. This is exactly what unfolded here.

Nobody would even know Matt Gaetz’s name if the GOP had a 40-seat majority in the House.
