Seymour Hersh Claims Ukraine ‘War Effort’ Is ‘All Lies’: ‘The War Is Over – Russia Has Won’

Renowned investigative journalist Seymour Hersh has claimed that the U.S.-led war effort in Ukraine is “all lies.”

According to Hersh, the war is already “over” and “Russia has won.”

The veteran reporter alleges that the CIA and MI-6 have been running a “secret disinformation operation” to convince the public to keep funding “the war.”

He says the American and British intelligence agencies have been misleading the public about the disastrous state of the war effort.

“The war is over. Russia has won,” a senior U.S. intel official reportedly told Hersh.

“There is no Ukrainian offensive anymore, but the White House and the American media have to keep the lie going.

“The truth is if the Ukrainian army is ordered to continue the offensive, the army would mutiny.

“Major elements of the Ukrainian army, without declaring so, virtually canceled the offensive,” Hersh reports.

“The two villages that the Ukrainian army recently claimed as captured are so tiny that they could fit between two Burma-Shave signs,” the source said.

“The soldiers aren’t willing to die anymore, but this doesn’t fit the B.S. that is being authored by the Biden White House.”

Something is going on. I don’t know what. I read that Soros has moved Victoria Nuland from Ukraine to Africa. Supposedly to invest in “Alternate Energies”. Victoria Nuland has never invested in any thing but war, dissension , destruction, and mayhem in her life. Trouble follows where ever she goes. She may have been sent to Africa to see what she can stir up. The “Alternate Energy” she is investing in are AK47s, RPGs, pedestal mounted machine guns to be mounted in the beds of pick up trucks, pick up trucks to mount machine guns in the bed. Whether they smell a rat, or something has happened in Ukraine is food for thought. What is significant is some say she is in Africa. And nothing good happens where ever she goes.

Um, no one under 70 is going to understand this reference
For those under 70 - the Burma shave signs were along the highway separated by hundreds of feet and just part of the "message" was on each sign and usually funny but with the last being the Burma Shave sign.

Here's a bunch from a Duck Duck Go Search: Burma Shave Signs!

Funny how Seymour Hersh lies about the American troops in Iraq are forgotten once he started pimping for Putin.

Luckily your personal fears, hang-ups, and deference to Russia do not decide American and Western policies.

What is the big dangerous move you are talking about, aiding Ukraine?

Long-range missiles, and American tanks.

Both should not be used by us. Ever. In Ukraine.

Like Russia, our weapon industries need to sell and have American weapons gifted as much as they can be to other countries, it is a very competitive industry and the nations need widespread markets for their weapons to make them more affordable at home and to keep their military industrial base alive and well.

It is also to hurt the enemies the countries want to hurt or to help the countries we want to help, such as Reagan in Afghanistan and helping Iraq during the Iran-Iraq war, or Russia in Vietnam and Korea.

As long as Ukraine is at war NATO is not an option.

Could be. It’s not only un-American, it’s inhuman.

Where is the war crimes tribunal when you need them?

There are probably a few special chairs left for Zelensky the queer clown, Romney (let's fight to the last Ukie -- so we don't have to), and Blinken. Nueland and company (we'll stand by you to the last man -- your men -- not ours).

“The sacrifice of the Ukrainians and their nation, with no possible hope of a good outcome, simply to cause as much trouble for Russia as possible, will go down as the most shameful foreign policy event in the history of the United States.”

You sound like someone who would readily surrender to anyone who so much as farted in your general direction.

Ukraine simply wants to remain independent and in charge of its own destiny.

I’ll leave you with something Winston Churchill said (though it is something you will not understand): “If you will not fight for the right when you can easily win without bloodshed; if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not too costly, you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance for survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.”

This war that Russia has thrust upon Ukraine is an existential one for Ukraine: Ukraine wishes not to “survive” if survival means being just a mere Russian vassal state.

“That’s pretty routine stuff.”

Routine stuff at which Russia and its toadies cry “Foul!”

Russia — as bullies everywhere — is enraged when their victim has the temerity to fight back; such bullies see that as cheating.

You’re okay with Russia striking Ukraine behind its enemy’s lines, but you get the vapors when Ukraine strikes Russian targets behind Russian lines.

Battlefield Massacre: Wounded Ukrainian Soldier Vows to ‘Shoot Himself in the Leg’ Rather Than Go Back to the Front – Russian Forces Have a New Radio Frequency to Inform Kiev’s Troops How to Surrender, 800 Troops Have Done So

After over three months of its failed counteroffensive, Ukraine has conquered only 0,25% of the territory controlled by the Russians, after over 71k troops losses and over 500 tanks.

Let me repeat: $110 billion after, Kiev’s regime captured one quarter of one percent of the territory it sought.

This is only worsening the massive draft dodger operation inside the country, as Kiev is now drafting the too young, and the old, the infirm, and even medical women.

The low morale of all those Ukrainian soldiers who are already unwilling to see action has never been clearer, as we can see in this story first published in The Times (behind paywall).

Why Shelf-Stable Beef Will Be an Extremely Valuable Commodity in the Near Future

Sputnik reported:

“Ukrainian draft dodgers “dream up extreme ways” to avoid the frontline as the country is struggling to tackle low morale in the army, a UK newspaper has reported.

As an example, the newspaper referenced a 20-year-old injured Ukrainian soldier, who now says he will never come back to the frontline, not least due to his commanders’ indifferent attitude toward him.”

The soldier, mentioned by the first name Andrey, deserted from his unit after being discharged from hospital still with bullet fragments in his left shoulder.

He was ordered to return to the front, but remains hidden in a refuge in the western Ukrainian city of Lvov, where he vows to take the most extreme measures no to return to the front.

“‘I am absolutely ready to shoot myself in the leg rather than ever go back to the front‘, Andrey, who described himself as ‘a contract soldier’ and “a professional,” told the newspaper.”

“Put yourself in the shoes of a Russian general and come up with a handful of attack plans for mainland U.S.”

Russia has had such plans for about 80 years; just as we have such plans for Russia. It’s SOP for pretty much every nation to have such plans.
