Renowned investigative journalist Seymour Hersh has claimed that the U.S.-led war effort in Ukraine is “all lies.”
According to Hersh, the war is already “over” and “Russia has won.”
The veteran reporter alleges that the CIA and MI-6 have been running a “secret disinformation operation” to convince the public to keep funding “the war.”
He says the American and British intelligence agencies have been misleading the public about the disastrous state of the war effort.
“The war is over. Russia has won,” a senior U.S. intel official reportedly told Hersh.
“There is no Ukrainian offensive anymore, but the White House and the American media have to keep the lie going.
“The truth is if the Ukrainian army is ordered to continue the offensive, the army would mutiny.

“Major elements of the Ukrainian army, without declaring so, virtually canceled the offensive,” Hersh reports.
“The two villages that the Ukrainian army recently claimed as captured are so tiny that they could fit between two Burma-Shave signs,” the source said.
“The soldiers aren’t willing to die anymore, but this doesn’t fit the B.S. that is being authored by the Biden White House.”

“The worst fascists are those that don’t think of themselves as fascists, like you, homeboy.”
Nice try, kid.
“I don’t know that Russia is any more commie than the US.”
And yet, Russia’s closest allies are all hardcore communists: Red China, North Korea, Cuba; and the second tier: Venezuela, Nicaragua, and some of the African countries that change governments every couple weeks.
While Russia is not as rabidly communist as it was during the days of the USSR, there are still many in Russia and its government who pine for those halcyon days. And, irony of ironies: Today Russia is more fascist than it is communist; yet it routinely calls its opponents fascists. Talk about projection!
“There are dozens of independent journalists that have reached the same conclusion. Col. Douglas Macgregor, Scott Ritter and Larry Johnson have reached the same conclusion.”
And all three of them are discredited.
I come from an unbroken line of career officers going back to the revolutionary war. It is because of my love for them, our military, and this country that I know the importance if avoiding foreign entanglements.
What’s your excuse for supporting the usurper Biden’s Ukrainian grift?
There’s no such thing as a “Seymour Hersh conservative”.
I’ve often wondered what happened to the America our parents and their parents handed down to us? Up is down, down is up, wrong is right, right is wrong … the changes seem so sudden.
Or worse, what’s coming next, because Churchill’s right.
Seems like that day is soon upon us, too, given our border now and all that’s come flooding in, along with what now seems to have once again taken power over us.
Interesting times.
Ironic that you support Seymour Hersh after all his liberal hit jobs on the American military, isn’t it?
“I come from an unbroken line of career officers going back to the revolutionary war. It is because of my love for them, our military, and this country that I know the importance if avoiding foreign entanglements.”
Whenever someone trots out their claimed pedigree, unsolicited, a red flag goes up. If it is in response to someone denying you served, then your recitation is warranted; if not, it is suspect.
As for foreign entanglements: That may have made sense in the 18th century, when our trade and economy was largely provincial and we were protected by two vast oceans. However, to take such an isolationist position since the early 20th century was and is more than naive: It borders on the suicidal.
72 here - I remember them as well
“Interesting times.”
They are indeed.
meh. Hersh is only stating the obvious. I didn’t acquaint myself to his prior scribbling, though I did read his piece on the Nordstream pipeline sabotage.
Most of all, I don’t want my 18 y.o. son or 22 y.o. daughter, or my friends & neighbors kids, to die in Ukraine. Also, I don’t want the American taxpayers to borrow money from China and give it to Ukraine, and pay the interest with inflation.
Why do you have such a raging hate boner for the Russians? You know the Ukrainians are a former Soviet State, no different than the Russians. Why do you care if these two former commie countries slap each other around? I know why Joe and Hunter care, they have a sweet deal going on with Burisma.
The Bidens took more bribe money from the Moscow mayor’s wife than they did from Burisma. And she’s still exempt from sanctions.
Demilitarization of Russia with 5% of our defense budget is the bargain of a lifetime.
“Demilitarization of Russia with 5% of our defense budget is the bargain of a lifetime.”
Oh, I understand now… you are a financial dimwit with the economic acumen of an toddler. No true freeper would be so short sighted, so irresponsible, to utter such idiocy.
Sad
Moskva is on the bottom of the Black Sea. Never to be replaced. A bargain.
“Are you in the same cubicle as Maximus?”
I saw the same handoff zipping through this thread. They seemed to have activated the on-call shift.
This tactic is is typical of someone that can't defend their position -- attack the source rather the information presented by the source.
Ukraine isn't getting an inch of territory back. This after you and your ilk hyped the failed counteroffensive for months.
Almost every prediction YOU and YOUR sources has been wrong. And, I intend to hold you account when this war ends with Russia possessing all the territory it has annexed.
Luckily, no one put you in charge of defining conservatism, Ace.
*snort* yeah, secret
. One would never know perusing FR this past year. Thread after thread of spooks posting to themselves.

That is a lot of NATO years during those careers.
